3M Perfect-It Quick Connect Wool Compounding Pad, 33287, 6 in

I really like the double sided and quick connect features. Pad performed very well with the 3m rubbing compound on a commercial millwork project- clear coat urethane over stain. This s a 5 star pad and system except the paired discs the wool is attached to are starting to separate at the perimeter- this is noticeable upon inspection but doesn't seem to be affecting the function so far. I may be the agent in this because I dipped it in mineral spirits to clean the pad- perhaps the glue is not solvent resistant. If this is true, how about a warning?

Bought one 05753 and one 05754 and they are so unbalanced,making my machine shake alot. Tried with differnt pads just to rule out there are any problemn with my flex rotary,no problem. But these pads are bad. Maybe i got a bad batch, but bought from two different places so dont think so. Anyhow i will send them back and hopefully get my money back.
