Bought a tube and with minimal usage, it has lasted for about 30 yrs and am buying another. Tube was always stored in home in its box and with cap on tight. Never dries out. Works great!

Did NOT work

This stuff literally ruined the paint on my car. It is the biggest hassle to work with because it is too thick and very stringy. A small amount seeped out under the badge from the pressure of pushing on it, didn't notice until an hour later, and it took the paint on my trunk right off with it. Not happy.

Used the product on affix dual plastic emblems to a boat. Two months later I discovered a rust/yellowish ooze had wept its way out and is now fully adhered to the white gelcoat. The surface was cleaned with acetone prior and applied indoors at approximately 75 degrees. It's high viscosity made applying quite challenging and was compounded by aggresively seting within 10 seconds into a even thicker mess. 3M was chosen from brand confidence and as this was a restoration for a customer, I didn't want to risk my reputation over something so amateurish as screwing up a simple, yet essential asthetic. I'm sure this product in general is most likely very good, but for this job it did not perform well.

Would not recommend. I used it on my truck and it dissolved the paint. It also dissolved the plastic of the emblem. Now I'm repainting my fender and trying to salvage the emblem. Not happy!!!
