These masks were life savers. We used them while cleaning out a hoarder 's house with very foul odors. Make sure you order the vapor cartridges to go with them (#6001). We smelled nothing with these masks on. We could not have done this job without these them!

I bought this a year ago. I swear by it. I am astounded at how many people are using it improperly. Then bad-mouthing 3M for, their own mistakes.

It was excellent when I first started wearing it but as it has gotten warmer it really sticks to your face and makes you sweat. But it definitely makes me feel safe and secure from any virus exposure.

At first I liked your design, then I worked in it for the day. Initial comfort is great! But add sweat and moisture from wearing and suddenly the respirator is Terrible! Constantly sliding down the face no matter how much you tighten up the head apparatus and cinch ties. Because of the sliding fumes from the chemicals become an issue making the mask dangerous. I switched back to my old 3M face mask. With it I don't have to deal with sliding even when sweating. I do not have issues with being exposed to any chemical fumes because the face mask fits snug. Might not be as comfortable on the face but my lungs don't care.

When you first put this mask on, the fit is very comfortable. But working in extreme heat with sweat, the mask quickly fails. The adjustments on the mask provide no resolution, and the only thing I can do to keep a seal is to hold my mouth open to maintain the seal. I don't know if it's the sweat or the heat, but this mask is no good for high temperature work.

I ordered this for the Covid19 virus and because I'm a jeweler and needed a mask for polishing jewelry. First, this cost me 17.12 when I ordered it 2/21/2020. Second, I read the reviews - I know, dumb. I saw it does not come with the actual filters and within a few minutes of my order, hit the "cancel" button. They said I could refuse the package but it was left on my door step, my husband opened it and we could not refuse it once opened. Live and learn. About the cancellation - I got an email saying it was on its way and they couldn't cancel it. Third. I don't believe it's a genuine 3m mask. I have others and it just feels different and looks different. Now I have to wait for the covid19 panic buying of masks to die down before I can buy the respirator filter inserts. Or donate it to Goodwill. I'll never order off of Walmart again. Fourth, this is NOT Walmart, it seems. It came from a non walmart name.
