3M Reusable Half-Face Respirator, 6000 Series

These masks were life savers. We used them while cleaning out a hoarder 's house with very foul odors. Make sure you order the vapor cartridges to go with them (#6001). We smelled nothing with these masks on. We could not have done this job without these them!

These fit well, adjust to a wide variety of shaped faces, and keep fumes and or dust out well.

I bought this a year ago. I swear by it. I am astounded at how many people are using it improperly. Then bad-mouthing 3M for, their own mistakes.

It was excellent when I first started wearing it but as it has gotten warmer it really sticks to your face and makes you sweat. But it definitely makes me feel safe and secure from any virus exposure.

When you first put this mask on, the fit is very comfortable. But working in extreme heat with sweat, the mask quickly fails. The adjustments on the mask provide no resolution, and the only thing I can do to keep a seal is to hold my mouth open to maintain the seal. I don't know if it's the sweat or the heat, but this mask is no good for high temperature work.

At first I liked your design, then I worked in it for the day. Initial comfort is great! But add sweat and moisture from wearing and suddenly the respirator is Terrible! Constantly sliding down the face no matter how much you tighten up the head apparatus and cinch ties. Because of the sliding fumes from the chemicals become an issue making the mask dangerous. I switched back to my old 3M face mask. With it I don't have to deal with sliding even when sweating. I do not have issues with being exposed to any chemical fumes because the face mask fits snug. Might not be as comfortable on the face but my lungs don't care.
