To say that this product is delicious, it is an understatement! It has become the perfect addition to my cupcakes and pies, with unlimited options for other baked pastries. They taste so good and are always so moistured, thanks to its marvelous syrup. I am so happy with it that I already run to thw store for more cans, lol!
These lovely jars of mixed fruits are so yummy and flavorful and they really ups your game when making waffles, pancakes, or any baking treats. There is nothing as good as a homemade cherry pie or turnovers made with these berries. The recipe that used to be on the back of the label is available on line and is worth following. I always use the optional almond extract because it adds that indescribable perfection to the finished product. If you are a "tart" flavor lover, reduce the sugar a little and you will not be sorry. Often I make turnovers using only one can of these berries and Pepperidge Farm's Puff Pastry that I roll out to accommodate 6-8 turnovers.....they disappear rapidly. I used to be able to get these in my local supermarkets, but they no longer carry them. Seems they are so intent on selling their own brands these days that they are eliminating the tried and true brands we have used for years. It is sad so I was very pleased to be able to get them now.
Was a little concerned when I got them but to my surprise, I decided to make a dump cake with them and man was it good. It turned out tasting better than my old receipt. Everyone who tried it loved it sorry no pic for dump cake it was all gone before I remembered to take one
The quality is very good for canned fruit. It tastes better than frozen, plus you get the juice which is delicious. I like this mix because you can taste the different berries individually and it is not too sweet. I used it to make mini pies, a berry cobbler, and have been using it as a topping for my oatmeal at breakfast.
Received these and we got right to work. My family and I absolutely loved the taste of these. We used these to make little mini pies which were a big hit with the kids and also used them when we made pancakes. We loved the taste and texture. Would highly recommend to others.
I made a crisp with my can of mixed berries. With an oatmeal streusel topping. Very good eating warm with vanilla ice cream on top. I'm looking forward to making a pie next with them. They have a great taste to them for being a canned product. I would recommend to anyone wanting to try some canned fruit. This was my first time trying this brand or mixed berries and my whole family loved the dessert I made.
These mixed berries are delicious! I know you're supposed to use them in baking but I actually love them with vanillla yogurt and in a pinch have eaten them on top of cottage cheese for breakfast. They're not overy sweet or gooey which I can't stand.
I made the berry pie recipe Oregon Co. has posted online with these 2 cans of berries. The pie turned out delicious. The fruit was plump and ripe and perfect. The raspberries.and blackberries are huge! Eating this pie makes want to be from Oregon!
I love Oregon specialty fruit for pies, tarts, crumbles and other recipes. The mixed fruit is very good, makes a nice fall pie. I'm going to use one can to make some pop tarts, yum. Good quality canned fruits.
It finally arrived. Had a neighbor bring the back to me. Apparently whoever the carrier was can't read! I've just opened and used it last night. Great variety of fruit and tasty for being in a can. Mostly I purchase frozen fruit for that fresh flavor when can't can't get fresh fruit.
