I started buying them partly because a friend of mine who is an elite athlete buys them for convenience, and I realized he had a point. They're easy, portioned, and ready when you need them. In the morning, I like the little sip of fruit juice, and I often pour the pears over a cup of cottage cheese for some extra protein. Simple and surprisingly satisfying. My only wish is that they didn't come in little plastic cups. I don't have the perfect packaging solution, but I keep imagining something more reusable—maybe little cartons that could be turned into building blocks afterward. My mom used to make blocks for us out of milk cartons covered in brick-pattern contact paper. Fruit cups that become toys? Now that would be fun.

simple healthy filling snack

I must've been tired when I ordered this, assuming "No sugar added" and "Naturally sweetened water" was pure pears. Stevia was added, which is a sweetener. Besides being too sweet and inedible, the pears were hard like they were under-ripe. I cannot recommend this USA made product.

The only reason for the negative review is because of the absolute lack of nutritional value. You would expect at least some vitamin C. Nothing more than empty calories when we think we're doing good for our children. Sad.

I was really looking forward to getting them and so I opened one and it had more pears that were not even ripe, so I tried another one same thing. Very sad!

I bought this item for my 15 month old looking for a quick fruit that wasn't in syrup or artificial sugars. of course I tried I piece first... right away tasted artificial sweetener. looked at the ingredients and sure enough there is artificial sweetener in it! it claims to have none! They claim it has none. it's a lie. It contains acesulfame potassium calorie free artificial sweetener that is 200 times more sweeter then regular sugar!! How can they get away with claiming is has no artificial sweeteners and people are feeding these to their family!

advertises no artificial sweeteners. i tried it and CLEARLY can taste artificial sweetener. i check ingredients and lo and behold. sucrolose. cool. these taste terrible btw.
