a real user review of a better goods tortilla chip

Robert April 15, 2026

I'm not huge on tortilla chips, but I keep buying this better goods stuff because it is usually unique in some aspect or another, and also because I also find that the quality of them is better. These chips didn't give me the full on expectation of either of them with this chip. I do like multigrain anything and in this case the tortilla chip was a little too much of the flavor profile.

Oh-so healthy and yummy 😋

MrsHound16 January 16, 2026

These are extremely delicious, but more-so, they are very very healthy. The ingredient list is stellar and top-notch. These are going to be our new go-to tortilla chips. Hubby and I LOVE this brand Bettergoods! This brand carries many many healthy food options

About bettergoods Heirloom Blue Corn and Multigrai

Andrew January 10, 2026

For now, a bag of bettergoods Heirloom Blue Corn and Multigrain Tortilla Chips, 10 oz is less expensive than a bag of Late July Blue Corn Organic Tortilla Chips, 10.1 oz. The chips inside of the 2 bag of bettergoods Heirloom Blue Corn and Multigrain Tortilla Chips, 10 oz does not taste too salty. At the same time, the chips inside of the 2 bags of bettergoods Heirloom Blue Corn and Multigrain Tortilla Chips, 10 oz I bought taste acceptable.

Flavorful and Crunchy.

Anonymous December 21, 2025

These blue corn and multi grain tortilla chips are so flavorful and crunchy with just the right amount of salt. They are thin and crisp, so expect some to be broken in the bag. If you're looking for a tortilla chip with extra flavor and fiber, give these a try. You'll be pleasantly surprised. Yum.

Tasty, crunchy and satisfying corn chips!

PatF March 25, 2026

These chips are delicious! Tried them twice. Never had blue corn before, but in case you're wondering, the chips are are brown. They're hearty, crunchy and tasty. Just enough salt to bring out the corn flavor. I find that they satisfy my cravings for salty and crunchy with a couple of handsful. Don't have to eat half the bag to feel full like I do with regular corn chips. My only criticism is that the bag is foil lined! That's not a complete deal breaker for me. But I;m on the hunt for another blue corn chip that isn't.

Bettergoods chips increased price

Deborah February 25, 2026

Walmart brings out a new product at a very competitive price and over time the price increases until it's as expensive as other brands. Then other brands are removed so Walmart brands prevail. This leaves less choice for the consumer but is very clever. I would like to see even less salt in these chips.

Pretty good chips. Way overpriced.

ACustomer April 15, 2026

These are pretty good blue corn chips. However, for a mere 10 ounce bag the price is ridiculous (and keeps getting worse). This is especially true when these aren't even fully certified as organic, despite containing mostly organic ingredients (thankfully). Name brand organic blue corn chips can be found for less elsewhere, that are better. In my opinion, Wal-Mart's newish "bettergoods" branded products are mostly a ripoff, including these. And, sadly, when they introduced this branding they eliminated tons of their "Great Value Organic" and "Sam's Choice Organic" products, which were not only all certified organic and generally of much higher quality, they were also much more affordable. It's not necessarily the case with these particular chips, but A LOT of the "bettergoods" line of products are full of terrible ingredients, including GMOs galore; there's nothing "better" about them at all. So, buyers beware when shopping this fairly new Wal-Mart brand. I only buy these chips because there aren't many options besides Wal-Mart where I live. If I had more options, I'd certainly be shopping elsewhere, and getting better quality chips for lower prices than what Wal-Mart's selling these for. In general, Wal-Mart's pricing is getting way out of hand. I recommend these only if, like me, you don't really have other options where you live.

James August 1, 2025

I like this brand and quality for the most part. Unfortunately, the last few bags in all of their chip flavors have had too much coating or salt on the outside. This is not good and unlike a cracker, you can't wipe it off without destroying the chip. most of the Chip bags that I get are half broken now anyway. Usually sprinkle the broken pieces on a salad or on top of soups and some other dishes. Disappointing.

Way too much Salt!!

Jacki March 6, 2025

I have eaten these in the past and have loved them. This current bag is awful. The salt content is way above normal. They're absolutely awful. Each chip is so full of salt it's disgusting. I tried calling, waited forever, talked with AI and got the run around. I truly hope this was a one off.
