These are extremely delicious, but more-so, they are very very healthy. The ingredient list is stellar and top-notch. These are going to be our new go-to tortilla chips. Hubby and I LOVE this brand Bettergoods! This brand carries many many healthy food options
Very happy I discovered these chips about 8 months or so ago. Excellent. High-end chip at a Walmart price. Organically-grown blue corn...simple ingredients...and to top it all off, they are cooked in avocado oil. Seems nearly all the competing chips (and there are hundreds) use one seed oil or another. Oh, and did I mention, these chips are super scrumptious!
So much better than regular chips. The scattering of sunflower seeds, flax seeds and brown rice take these to another level. Avocado oil is used to cook them which is better than whatever combo of oils they use for other chips. I would purchase again and highly recommend. They are also organic which I would suggest adding to the front label and not just in the ingredients list.
For now, a bag of bettergoods Heirloom Blue Corn and Multigrain Tortilla Chips, 10 oz is less expensive than a bag of Late July Blue Corn Organic Tortilla Chips, 10.1 oz. The chips inside of the 2 bag of bettergoods Heirloom Blue Corn and Multigrain Tortilla Chips, 10 oz does not taste too salty. At the same time, the chips inside of the 2 bags of bettergoods Heirloom Blue Corn and Multigrain Tortilla Chips, 10 oz I bought taste acceptable.
First, I noticed that one reviewer noted that these were salty. Not true. In fact, some more salt would help to bring out the flavors of the grains. If you're looking for a light, airy, crispy chip, these ain't it. These chips have good whole grain flavor, a dense hearty crunch, and IMHO are best eaten by themselves. Really not a great vehicle for salsa. Just enjoy the flavor of the grains. Once again, they are hearty and quite filling. I think they need a touch more salt.
I'd still prefer little to no salt please. Bettergoods just tastes better than great value. Are the ingredients really simpler, cleaner? I don't thoroughly check every label, but I try to. Really tasty and seems to be 1,000 times better than the mega brands. Keep it up and lower the costs Walmart
Walmart brings out a new product at a very competitive price and over time the price increases until it's as expensive as other brands. Then other brands are removed so Walmart brands prevail. This leaves less choice for the consumer but is very clever. I would like to see even less salt in these chips.
I like this brand and quality for the most part. Unfortunately, the last few bags in all of their chip flavors have had too much coating or salt on the outside. This is not good and unlike a cracker, you can't wipe it off without destroying the chip. most of the Chip bags that I get are half broken now anyway. Usually sprinkle the broken pieces on a salad or on top of soups and some other dishes. Disappointing.
I have eaten these in the past and have loved them. This current bag is awful. The salt content is way above normal. They're absolutely awful. Each chip is so full of salt it's disgusting. I tried calling, waited forever, talked with AI and got the run around. I truly hope this was a one off.
