I have never done a review, but was very wowed by this cookie .I love a good lemon cookie. This one is very soft with the perfect amount of tart lemon. Will definitely buy again and can't wait to share with family. We love a good tea party and this would be perfect for that.
OMGOODNESS and I sincerely mean OMG!!! delicate enough to set out for fancy tea party; taste is …my mouth is watering; definitely there is lemon but not overwhelming; very pretty with icing drizzle; there are 9 cookies in the box; very well packaged: individual section for each cookie in each tray/ 3 trays with 3 cookies looking forward to ordering and receiving my next “haul” I am unable to provide photos; all gone in a “blink” and there was no fancy tea party🤭 but I can only imagine how pretty they would be on a blue %26 white dish
The texture is soft, like a cross between the shortbread base and the tangy, curd-like filling of a lemon square. The packaging may seem over the top, with 3 individual plastic trays each gently cradling 3 separate cookies for a total of 9 cookies. But it's because the cookies are so delicate that they require such careful, thoughtful packaging. They are the perfect cookie to accompany a cup of tea; I think they would go especially well with Lady Grey, Lavender Earl Grey, jasmine, or any delicate herbal tea.
I am absolutely hooked on these bettergoods Soft Baked Lemon Chiffon Cookies because they have the most incredible, pillowy texture I've ever found in a store-bought treat. They really live up to the "chiffon" name—they're light, airy, and practically melt in your mouth without being overly crumbly. The lemon flavor is bright and zesty rather than artificial, and the light dusting of sugar on top adds just enough sweetness to balance out the tang. They taste so fresh and high-quality that I'd honestly feel comfortable serving them on a nice platter for guests, though I usually end up polishing off the pack myself with a cup of tea. If you're a fan of citrus desserts, these are a must-try!
There are so so good. Don't buy them. I don't even like cookie and I adore them. If you are dieting or trying to avoid sugar, please don't buy them. Once you have tried them it's a wrap.
these cookies are pretty good but come in a lot of packaging for no reason. It has a box, with 3 plastic trays, wrapped in plastic.
I'm going to be honest, I was not impressed with the flavor, quantity for the price, or the look of the cookies. Even worse, I was appalled at the amount of waste produced in the packaging, for 9 small cookies. Inside the box, there was a clear plastic sleeve/bag covering 3 plastic trays, each of which had 3 compartments (which held a single a cookie). By contrast, the Great Value Lemon Sandwich Cookies are contained in a single tray covered by the printed sleeve/bag. No box was needed, and you get more than 4 times the total product weight— for less money! The total cookie count is probably 5-6 times that of these lemon chiffon cookies, again, for 10% less money. Personally, I do not think they are worth the cost; monetarily or environmentally.
Tastes great, but it only comes with 9 cookies. The box is stuffed with unnecessary extra plastic trays to make it feel like there's more in the box. Feels like a poor value for the money.
Not only are these the worst lemon cookies I've ever had, they also had something inside them that looks like bugs. (Sorry for the gross photo.🤢) I will never buy anything from this brand again.
When these LEMON chiffon cookies listed lemon oil as nearly the last ingredient in a long list of nearly indecipherable ingredients, you know you're in for a science lab treat. Not my thing. I don't know why but I expect BETTER GOODS…not just better packaging.
