This soup is tasty, nutritious, and versatile. You can just heat it from the can and eat it. You can add slices of your favorite bread, or even a cheese sandwich as a side dish. You can add more protein/nutrition by adding: (1) just the albumin (aka the "whites") from one raw egg before heating up to a boil; (2) or just the raw egg yolk; or (3) the whole raw egg.
goos soup for lunch or dinner add a sandwich or have soup and salad. no need ro add water. putvin a bowl or your favorite soup mug and heat. Quick and easy!
I really like this, the broth is incredible it has a rich chicken flavor. I like the noodles, they're not really soft they're a bit chewy and kind of similar to home made noodles like my grandma used to make. I like the chunks of vegetables and it has an OK amount of chicken. To be honest sometimes I add more chicken to it. Either way it's a great value, 1 can will fill me up pretty good and I think with a salad or half of a sandwich this could easily serve 2 people. Sometimes I add frozen peas and corn to this to give it more vegetables and they're both really good mixed in and cook up just as fast as the soup.
I was pleasantly surprised,I really don't like can soups, but this one won me over!Big chunks of chicken, vegetables, and wavy noodles. The broth was great, lots of herbs, not salty! Also covered by my benefits program.Im going to get a couple more next time.i paired them with Keebler Club Crackers, what a lunch!
I liked that it was not overly salty and actually feels “healthier” relative to other canned soups. There were plenty of noodles and chicken pieces to make a quick meal. Personally I did feel like the Progresso ones were better in terms of flavor and meat quality, the chicken in this soup were closer to lunch meat and not actual chicken meat. Still a good product for the price!
The Campbell's Soup tasted alright but the seasonings wasn't great. It tasted aright but it tasted like something was missing. It looked appealing but the look just didn't go along with the taste.
Broth, noodles, bits of carrot, and six little pieces of chicken in the entire can. It is definitely not chunky. Campbell's should be ashamed to even put chicken on the name. There's probably more chicken in a little can of Campbell's chicken noodle soup. So if you're hungry and you're going to have this, you better grab a sandwich too. You'll need it no chunk or chicken here.
We've been buying this soup reluctantly and only out of convenience for many years. The flavor of the soup itself is great, but the chicken (as in all of their soups) are cubes apparently cut from a large chicken "block", that is, compressed chicken. It is highly unappetizing, especially with numerous white pieces of something between the meat. It's not fat, probably is cartilage. Often, when we have leftover rotisserie chicken, we discard the Campbell's block meat and add the leftovers instead. The problem we had with this last shipment is that the soup cans were packed loose in the cardboard carton and FedEx left it halfway down our driveway during a heavy rain (see picture). By the time we discovered it the next day the carton had fallen apart and the outer soup can labels were soaked. What a mess.
It's a shame that consistently we receive damaged canned goods. I have seen the shoppers throwing things into the large shopping bin they roll around for online orders and it's shameful. Food is expensive and it seems that Walmart would enforce careful handling of goods that customers are purchasing.
I have placed several orders for Campbell's chicken noodle soup, and the Linden NJ Store have shipped damaged cans over and over. I am so disappointed on the careless workers at this location.
