I was pleasantly surprised by how good this soup is! The Campbell's Chunky Healthy Request Chicken and Sausage Gumbo has a perfect balance of flavor — a little spice, a lot of heartiness, and a rich, comforting broth. The chicken is tender, the sausage adds just the right kick, and the veggies taste fresh, not mushy like some canned soups. What really impressed me is that it's labeled Healthy Request but still tastes like comfort food. It's lower in sodium and fat, yet still full of flavor. I like to pour it over a bit of rice for an even more filling meal, but it's great right out of the can. This is now a pantry staple for me — perfect for a quick lunch or dinner when I don't feel like cooking but still want something warm and satisfying. Highly recommend!

a tasty meal..flavor is a tiny bit spicy but not like true cajun food. Just the right amount of liquid to make a real meal not watery soup. Add cornbread or french bread as a side.

When I need a quick lunch, I go for this soup. It is full of flavor with just a hint of heat. Great value for the money. Very satisfying and filling.

They have cut back on the amount of meat 😞 and veggies. To two cans of soup, I now add a can of drained Margaret Holmes Okra and Tomatoes 🍅 to make it more filling for two people. This is for a very quick dinner, but I'm considering adding a can of chopped chicken for more protein.

It's a good dinner starter. I add shrimp and some extra gumbo veg over rice with some garlic bread. Dinner is done!

Where is the meat? Where is the okra? The can contained almost all white rice and juice. Maybe, 4 pieces of sausage and chicken in the entire can. This is definitely not worth the cost.

One of the three cans was dented near the top. I went to use it today 12/26/24 and was unable to remove the lid with the pull tab. I had to carefully push the lid out with a spoon handle.. Where the can was dented towards the top, it was also perforated, and I could see daylight coming through. At this point, I decided to discard the contents of the can; deciding that it was assuredly not safe to eat:
