Need this as critical ingredient for . "Campbell's Original Sloppy Joe Recipe" The new chicken gumbo does NOT taste the same, so I bought two cases. Do not like their new spicy cajun chicken gumbo.....yuck !

I ordered two and only received one, plus a can of Vegetable beef, which I don't want. This is the second order in a row in that has been messed up. Last order it was the bag of cereal that was never received. With how expensive groceries are, this is a problem.

we love using this at Campbell's gumbo actually in our sloppy joe. it's my mom's recipe. instead of using sloppy Joe mix, we use gumbo and ketchup. we have not tried this soup on its own only in the sloppy joe format, but I really think you should give it a try if you like. sloppy Joe's that have a little more to it!

I ordered 4 cans of the chicken gumbo soup, received 3 of the chicken gumbo and 1 cheddar cheese soup, which was dented.

I ordered 6 - 4 packs, expecting them to be packaged tightly or plastic wrapped on a flat. I was shipped 24 loose cans in an oversized box with some paper packaging. 16 out of 24 cans are dented (9 severely dented). Since cans are pull top, I'm concerned about the integrity of the seal. Very disappointed with Wal-Marts packaging department.

I would not recommend Campbell's Condensed Chicken Gumbo. When prepared as directed by adding one can of water, the soup turns out far too thin—runny and watery. By comparison, Campbell's Condensed Split Pea Soup or Great Value's Condensed Barley Soup become noticeably thicker and more satisfying when adding one can of water. I think this means Campbell's manufacturing process needs adjustment: the soup should be more concentrated, with more water removed/dehydrated and more gumbo ingredients added. That way, after adding one can of water, the final product would be thicker, chunkier, and more enjoyable to eat. As it stands, the soup is simply too watery to recommend.
