Texture and color is similar to typical chili. Prepared with ingredients typically used in my chili and the result was just as delicious. Taste and flavor were slightly milder than typical chili but was easily remedied by adding favorite spices. Pleased with the quality of this food item and that it is plant-based. Thank you.

Start by cooking 1 cup of lentils with 2 cups of water and salt. When cooked, keep the heat low, remove the lid, and allow the clear water to evaporate. When only brown broth remains, stir in 1 can of this chili. My personal recipe for lentils is as above: lentils and water, salt, and one or both of the following: one large or two medium carrots, one large or two medium Roma tomatoes. You may need more salt for carrots and tomatoes. I plan to try this recipe with the chili added. I do like the flip-top opening cans, but the corrugated sides make cleaning a bit harder.

It's an AWESOMELY HEALTHY alternative to regular chili. It feels great knowing that when my family and I have chili dogs or chili burgers, we're at least eating something healthy

Perfect for vegetarians like me who enjoy chili beans mixed into dishes like taco salads or spaghetti, where it takes the place of meatballs for excellent yet tasty nutrition.

this one of my all-time non-meat options for 🌶️ , I like this one without beans better , it's great for hot dogs got a good flavor I really enjoy this. I put it on plant based hot dogs for chili dogs, it really good.

The cans are usually damaged

Instead of being stacked neatly in a box of the appropriate size (as canned goods are normally prepared for delivery), my 24 cans of chili were just tossed loosely into a box twice as big as it should have been. As a result, the cans bashed against each other in transit, and 17 of them are severely dented. I reported this before, but I was never contacted to be offered replacement.

8 out of 12 cans!!! Did you know that damaged cans can cause bacteria to grow inside the can? If you are going to send me damaged cans, the least you could do it credit a discount. I will be returning the damaged cans. I wouldn't buy these, and you probably wouldn't be able to sell these in store. Why are some many damaged?!?!? Does Walmart not care about quality anymore? I guess the greed is more important.

I thought this was not good tasting. I had half a can for a meal, and decided that I did not want it a second time and threw the rest away.
