I never had Simon in a can, but I have to tell you I loved loved loved it. It tastes good and had a nice texture and you can even make like a tuna fish out of it. Do the same way you make tuna fish, and maybe a little cheese, delicious, and good for you.

Pink salmon is not as god as wild caught red, but the price is $9 vs $3.80. Has all the nutrients and loaded with protein. I add two chopped hard boiled eggs and low fat mayo as well as pepper, dill, diced sweet onion for a great sandwich on whole wheat bread.

Great tasting salmon at a good price. I was raised by a southern mother. We grew up eating salmon patties with a side of fried potatoes. This salmon is always in my pantry for those days when you get the urge to have something different. I can't tell you if it's good in anything else but I can say I like this brand of salmon.

its canned salmon. its not gonna be fresh salmon. keep that in mind. there are bones. mostly vertabre that are very easy to pick out. there is skin. all the fish is cooked. it has a little bit of water. not much. there are large chunks with some " this and that" salmon. its not smoked or salted. no spices. this is perfect for salmon patties. just pick through it before prep. great in soup stew, cheese, patties, salad sammichez. just ad your creativity. perfect shelf staple. handy 4 pack. good nitrition. healrhy it is exactly what you get with a canned salmon. good

This is the 3rd can of Great Value salmon that has arrived in a dented can. Walmart is good to reimburse me but too many people don't understand the dangers of eating from dented cans especially if the dent is located on the crease at the top or bottom of the cab.

for the price it's ok, this is packed in thiland and its healthy enough however there is a lot more skin and fatty tissue, most people used to american products wont like this. and while the price isnt bad its not really a good deal either as the average person will probably be throwing away a good portion of the product due to its unappetizing aperance.

I didn't expect anything special from canned salmon. Salmon typically has tiny bones in it, which I expected. what I did not expect was dozens of round thick bones (about the size of an eraser on a pencil). they were everywhere in the meat and very difficult to pick out. I'd imagine they'd break a tooth if you bit down on one. ended up throwing my can away

I normally try to avoid "scratch %26 dent" sales when it comes to food that give my family, but I thought this set of four was just a promotional pack. Turns out it's for clearing undesirable items off warehouse shelves. Three of the four cans are damaged - each has one easily noticeable dent, plus 2-3 much smaller ones near the seams. Now I have to store those separately for a while, see if they swell up, before I'm confident of whether they'll be safe to use. I will not make this mistake again.

Poorly cleaned fish. Required much additional rinsing to get all the guts washed out. Still, despite rinsing, the taste was heavily affected as the fish meat was steeping in part of its intestines in the can for months. Will not be buying this brand again. Family complained about the taste and smell. A few heroes, with brave stomachs, actually ate half of their servings with dishes made from it. The general consensus was, "Yuck".

I only purchase Red Salmon for myself. I purchased this Pink Salmon for my Chihuahua. He won't eat it and I've tried two cans at different times. Both stunk to high heaven!!! The cans are a difficult shape to store with a fitted pet lid. And the inside product looks disgusting. I had no need to take it if my dog won't eat it. And he normally eats human-salmon!
