Great Value brand of ranch dressing is as close to the taste of H*****V****** as you’re going to get! I was totally %26 most pleasantly surprised at how good Walmart does their house brand items…not everything, but this dressing hit the nail on the head!
This salad dressing is excellent for salads, even Cole slaw, for dipping chicken tenders, and you can make some good sauces for hot veggies, like broccoli and cauliflower. It's every bit as good as the "top" brands, and costs a decent amount of money.
I'm really selective when it comes to Ranch, and none of the name brands impress me. I began to make my own and then decided to try Great Value Ranch. WOW. FINALLY. This IS the better tasting ranch just like so many others have reviewed. Consistency is perfect, not too thin or thick. Good dressing for my salads and fresh veggies. I also mix it in sour cream as a dip or potato topping. And the price cannot be beat. Another Great Value product I'll be buying regularly.
I don't eat salads. Bought this to make my own pasta salads much cheaper than the $2 "Suddenly Salad" type of mix. This $2 bottle will make at least 4 pasta salads and GV pasta is the lowest cost pasta around. I can add olives or grape tomatoes or tuna and still spend little more than it costs for the brand name basic mix which comes with just 7 ounces of pasta.
What can I say about this dressing. First of all it is my favorite taste. For me nothing can compare to this dressing. I eat it with any vegetable ..on baked potatoes. in mashed potatoes and of course on a salad. I make sure I have some in my pantry at all times.
Good tasting basic ranch dressing. Like so many other Great Value food brands, I am favorably impressed. As good as the brand names only less expensive. Thank you Walmart for all your Great Value grocery items. In today's expensive economy our household has grown to depend upon many such Great Value offerings.
It's a great ranch. I replaced my ranch every six months whether it's still full or empty ranch is a must have at our house so it is constantly being replaced every six months and this is the specific ranch we buy. Personally, it taste better than the name, brand ankles, great with salads, pizza, and veggies.
I'm a bit of ranch dressing snob and as far as ranch goes this is the only store brand i will buy. Its not quite as good as Hidden Valley but if you're trying to save money is this the next best thing.
Well I guess I'll recommend this because for most of y'all you probably love this stuff and I used to till last summer when Rene, the kid across the street, broke into our garage while we were on vacation and as a prank he got into our food storage and poured ranch dressing over the seats inside our car. We pretty much knew it was him because he's a rascal and gets into trouble and used to ding dong ditch us when he was in elementary school. Now I guess he's graduated to B %26 E and Willa's brother who's a cop says he's headed for prison and not to worry but that ranch dressing took hours to clean up and even after I used the expensive cleanser you could still smell it, especially on hot days so I don't really eat ranch dressing anymore. I think Willa bought it from Walmart for the church potluck but I'm the one who writes the reviews for us and truthfully I just can't deal with ranch dressing no more.
didnt recieve. thry didnt have it in my order. im so tired of having to call and report. didnt get order and they brought wrong thing. i think employees need a refresher coarse
