My mom always kept some around %26 now I do for 2 reasons mainly. 1. I like it better (undiluted) in some foods - like oatmeal and Muesli. 2. When I am out of milk and don't want a lot of milk, I can dilute and substitute this in baking and cooking. I always keep a couple of cans around - just in case!

Great value evaporated milk. Great to have on hand in kitchen pantry. to use as coffee creamer and for recipes. Canned..shelf stable. always receive items that are not damaged. easy to mix. metal can. You can always transfer to a plastic container or cup. package perfect.. mixing. simple.

I got tired of buying milk just because I needed a quarter cup in something, then the rest turned sour since no one in the house eats cereal or uses milk in coffee. So we don't buy it. However, Sunday mashed potatoes or a creamed soup... ya' need milk! Keep one of these on the shelf and your all set. Use straight and you have heavy cream. Use 70/30 and you have light cream. Use 50/50 and there's your milk. Leftovers? It freezes perfectly in small portion cups.

I purchased this to make homemade mac %26 cheese. A new recipe called for it and I’m so glad that it did. I used it and it made the cheese sauce even silky Ear. Family loved it! Very easy mixing together with other ingredients. The container is perfect and I like the package.

The Great Value Evaporated Milk tastes exactly the same as Carnation brand! I've noticed lately that Carnation evaporated milk either seems to be out of stock at the grocery store or is really overpriced when you can find it. The Great Value evaporated milk is delicious- you really can't tell the difference! I would very highly recommend it to anyone.

I keep this in my pantry as a staple item! Sometimes you may need a shelf stable milk based alternative to fresh milk. This is the solution for me! I add water to it to have milk in my cereal, oatmeal, etc. I don't need a half or full gallon, so this works for my needs, economical and handy!

Here we go again, reviewing food. This isn't like sitting down at Aunt Bessie's for dinner. Can't say its too salty, burnt around the edges or the best ever. Its evaporated milk. They all taste a like to me, but this brand is cheaper. So, it gets to come home with me.

I love the taste of this product by mixing it into my coffee makes my morning start out right ,i use it as a creamer though it has lots of other uses.Its nice that they packaged it in a can container unopen it doesn't have to be refrigerated so you can stock up with it in your pantry instead of the limited space in your fridge.I wanted to make a better choice then the powdered creamers so i choose Great Value evaporated milk after trying a few others

a good evaporated milk product - nice flavor and texture -- perfect for my pumpkin pie! I have also used this canned milk as a cream substitute for some absolutely delicious creamed coffee. If you like cream in your coffee or tea, try this. You will be thankful for the suggestion.

Because of the cheaper price and some good reviews I purchased this for pumpkin pies. I love the taste of Carnation Evaporated Milk. And when I opened the can %26 tasted it and found it not at all the flavor of Carnation. The taste and texture was too watery. When I was making the pumpkin pie it was not at all creamy. And have that traditional pumpkin pie. 🥧. Walmart was kind enough to give me a refund. And I intend on purchasing the Carnation Brand……for future 🥧 pumpkin pie.
