I bought this for someone else cupboard. I liked that it is healthier and saves money . The Great value products seem always to be just as good as name brands. I like them. This is a larger sized can for family meals . I like that I can purchase this in the bigger can.
The first can we made the mistake of adding milk. Nope. Just add water as the old saying from Taco Bell goes.
Taste just as good as the name brand but not as expensive, we like to have grilled cheese and tomato soup!
Eat as a tomato soup, or use as a starter for chili or veg soup. This larg ecan goes a long way. Don't forget the crackers!
Just as good as Campbell's with a better price point.
Lam sure its good soup but I never got it.
First, I bought this because of the good price. I'm not sure that was a wise move, but I'm going to move it to long term storage food and keep it there. I'm used to Campbell's, and this does not taste like Campbell's, nor does it have the right texture. Something's weird. It's runny like spaghetti sauce. I make my soup with milk, and it looked almost white, whereas with Campbell's it looks like a dark pink. SO, here's my thinking: this is a good base for cooking, like making vegetable soup or meatloaf. It is NOT good for EATING. It's not good cooked from the can, and I ended up throwing half of the can I opened away. I'm going to be waiting for a sale on Campbell's and then stocking up. This I will keep with the emergency toilet paper.
Too large for couple or single use. It is a waste when you can't use it all. Please let us order smaller size.
Tasted good the box was in bad shape
Purchased and was spoiled … can expired 5 months ago! Took it back and didn't have a receipt … told me they'd exchange product for product … went back to shelf and they were all expired! Product in the can felt like a rock, told several people in the store about the cans and nobody seemed to care! Basically told them at customer service they could keep the can and left the store! I won't shop there again … rudest people I've ever met!
