I hate to give up this secret. These beans are seriously good. Add sage and rosemary along with pork shoulder it might be the best beans you ever tasted.

It is wonderful that Great Value offers such a great variety of dried bean and pea products. They are very nutritious. The instructions on the package are easily understood and make preparation easy. I like to make a pound bag and use it throughout the week in salads, soups, to make dips, burgers, and as a main course. They are really versatile. They are shelf stable and they can even be planted in the garden.

The quantity is competitive as was the price but the quality was lacking in comparison to those I have been purchasing. The bean size is smaller and the color was duller.

Not my first purchase. Good product and reasonably priced.

These beans make great refried beans.

A lovely, mild flavored bean with a creamy texture. Good for soups, dips, a main course, or side dish.

These are creamy in texture unlke black or pintos, but they are a new favorite with southwester or Mexican food.

It's great to make soup with it.

I like the product came very clean, hardly. Any debris when I washed it off before cooking cooks up. You definitely need to soak the beans. Prior to cooking, my husband really enjoys it.Especially in mexican dishes, we use it quite often.We'll buy again.

AS A BEAN EATER, I CAN TELL YOU MAYOCOBA BEANS ARE SOME OF THE FINEST BEANS I HAVE EVER EATEN. HOWEVER, I HAD TO STOP PURCHASING THEM IN DRIED FORM. AS HAS BEEN THE CASE ORDERING DRIED BEANS ALTOGETHER THEY ARE ALLOWED TO SIT ON SHELVES FAR TOO LONG. THIS RENDERS THEM IMPOSSIBLE TO COOK LET ALONE EAT. WHO WANTS TO COOK A POT OF BEANS FOR HOURS UPON HOURS? NOT ME, FOR SURE. UNFORTUNATELY, WALMART IS NOT THE ONLY RETAIL GROCER GUILTY OF THIS. AS A RESULT, WE CONSUMERS HAVE HAD NO CHOICE BUT TO PURCHASE BEANS IN CANNED FORM. GUESS WHAT? MAYOCOBA BEANS DO NOT EXIST IN CANNED FORM...
