A perfect blend of herbs and spices for delicious tacos. Add some GV taco sauce to your tacos for an upgrade. My family loves the tacos I make with this seasoning if they are ground turkey,, ground beef or ground beef and pork.

I buy the under $2 ground turkey roll, add in two of these packs regular or mild, tablespoon of GV minced onions and 1/4 C water, bestest taco meat ever!!!

i got a recipe for taco soup calling for 1 pkg. i wasn't about to buy some brand name stuff so i bought this Another factor was I didnt want medium or hot spice flavor either. it worked very well.

I Like this brand much better than the name brands. Taste is better to me! Does not have the bitter after taste like some have. .. Big savings also!

Overall if your looking for a cheep taco mix, this will work. The flavor is decent, just a little more salty than i prefer. I believe if you already have onion powder,cumin and chili powder at home, you can make same thing but better. With a lot less salt.

I purchased the Great Value Mild Taco Seasoning Mix expecting a traditional, family-friendly mild taco flavor. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst seasoning mixes I have ever used. The package is labeled "Mild," but that was not our experience at all. The seasoning was surprisingly hot and caused significant stomach discomfort for everyone in my family. Within a short time after eating, we were all dealing with intense burning in our stomachs. We ended up taking Pepto-Bismol and drinking milk just to try to calm the discomfort. We couldn't even finish our meal because it was so unpleasant. The flavor itself was equally disappointing. Instead of the balanced blend of spices you would expect in a taco seasoning, it had an overpowering sour, bitter taste that completely overwhelmed the meat. It tasted nothing like authentic Mexican-style taco seasoning. We prepared it exactly as directed, only adding onion and bell peppers to the ground meat along with the seasoning packet and water. There were no unusual ingredients or substitutions that could have affected the outcome. I have been making tacos for many years and have tried numerous brands of taco seasoning, but I have never experienced anything like this. The combination of excessive heat, harsh bitterness, and stomach irritation made the entire meal inedible. I cannot recommend this product to anyone looking for a genuinely mild taco seasoning. If you are expecting a smooth, flavorful, family-friendly taco mix, this is not it. Based on our experience, I will never purchase this brand of taco seasoning again.
