These pecan shortbread cookies are extremely tasty and a great snack for any time. I crave them and have to be careful because I could eat the whole container by myself. I will continue to purchase them and recommend them to my friends and family.!! ❤️❤️🤗
I really enjoyed these pecan shortbread cookies! They were so delicious! You know every adult has a snack that they don't share with their children. This is mine! These cookies are my comfort food. This is one of the few times that I am selfish-and I'm lovin' it!!! Be kind to yourself and buy these cookies. P.S. No one says that you have to share them.
The overall texture is excellent, well for me it is, as it doesn't crumble too fast but also isn't too hard to qualify for a shortbread texture. The crunch and crumble is just right. A noticeable hint of salt at first bite gives way to a sweet, buttery taste. It is difficult to only eat 1 serving, so take 2 or 3 out and throw that package on your highest shelf for a day or so to prevent over indulgence
These are my favorite Walmart brand cookies. I do not consider the calories, fat and carb content if they are eaten moderately. the cookie crumbly structure is excellent and the almond little pieces are enough to give the cookie its distinctive taste and perfect bite.
Great cookie here's a suggestion put them in the microwave for 15 seconds. Take them out stick a pecan nut in the center of it. Let them cool and you can use them for any type of event and a luncheon or even just yourself but put the pecans in a frying pan to get the oils out and you can taste the difference. You can also drizzle chocolate over on top of it also just an idea but they're really good.
OK I know this was sneaky... but. My elderly Mother loved her some Kibbler Pecan Sandies we literally bought 4 bags at a time! She ate them for years! Last I bought them they were about $4 per bag. Well I'm cheap and I love a good deal so I saw these Great Value brand ones so I bought em, and like always put a few on a plate for Mama. I was watching her to see if she'd notice. Of course she did, she was looking at it, and tasting it, then asked me if Kibbler had changed the Sandies recipe. I did not lie I said NO NOT THAT I KNOW WHY? She said these cookies are different THEY ARE SO MUCH BETTER THEY MUST HAVE CHANGED THEM!!! I let her eat about 10 bags before I told her I switched brands! $2 a bag vs. $4 and she liked them better!
Walmart please read this. I gave 3 stars in all categories, which could easily be 5 stars, except for one problem. Quality control is lacking. Too many times all the cookies in multiple packs taste like rotten pecans. I'm sure not all the pecans are rotten, but it does not take many to ruin the whole batch. I really like these cookies when there is no rotten taste.
These cookies are usually good but this time yhe pecans in them tasted rancid. The cookies were in date and still crunchy but inedible because of the pecans. Walmart gave me credit for th hem but it still left us without any cookies which was an inconvenience.
I've been buying these cookies for a long time and I always thought they tasted better than Keebler, but the last 2 times I've bought them, they taste like the pecans are rancid. I could smell it when I opened the bag, so why are they being packaged and sold to the consumers? Very disappointed in the quality of these cookies, and the fact that the manufacturer is knowingly selling us rancid cookies.
I would take the Pecan off the pkg. as there is a few tiny small chips of them in the cookies .Pinching Pecans won't sell your product in the end. People will stop buying then after seeing %26 tasting these cookies . I remember what real Pecan cookies tasted like .
