Is the first time I used them? They were very very good. I put a little sour cream and a little butter on them and they were very good and I was so surprised how good the flavor was. They were delicious. Heated some gravy with beef in it put it on top oh my gosh, that was a really great great dinner and cooking them with a snap. I will definitely them again and recommend them.
These Great Value Roasted Garlic Complete Potatoes completely surprised me — in the best way. I grabbed them for a quick dinner fix, and they turned out seriously delicious. The roasted garlic flavor is bold without being overpowering, and it tastes like you spent way more time cooking than you actually did. Smooth, creamy, and perfectly seasoned right out of the pouch. We paired them with crispy chicken one night and topped everything with a handful of crispy onions — and suddenly it felt like a full comfort-food masterpiece. Zero stress. Maximum flavor. If you want something affordable, fast, and reliably tasty, this one absolutely delivers. Easy to make, easy to love, and definitely worth keeping stocked in the pantry.
Yummy.great texture. Mixes great with water. Just add 2 cups water and can use in microwave for 3-4 minutes or on the stove. Does not clump. And tastes like garlic and at a great price of 1.00 and you have more than 3 or 4 servings. Great. I love it.
I love to eat but hate to cook not to mention clean up the kitchen afterwards so I'm always on the lookout for easy to prepare microwave dishes that don't make too much mess. I love these and they don't require milk to make them but I do usually toss in a tablespoon or two of butter after they're cooked just to make them more yummy. You need a medium sized bowl and something to cover it with, I use a plate what could be easier. For microwave you mix it all up in the bowl and heat it ready to eat a couple minutes later. I do cut the water a tiny bit (1/8th cup) you'll need to find your perfect amount on your own.
I live alone so making fresh mashed potatoes don't happen very often. The next best thing was the mash potatoes you add butter and milk. I do freeze milk occassionally but too much of a hassle defrosting the small amounts (individual). So when I found this I was excited. It's so easy to make and I fell in love with it. Whatever is leftover I just use next day. The taste is a 10.
Great flavor, and the ease in preparation is ridiculous. I.just use rubbermaid snap tight take and go containers...empty two pouches of potatoes in it....microwave 4 cups of water...pour over potatoes and stir. You can serve right out of the container, and then snap the lid back on to keep them hot...or when done...simply put it in the fridge. Easy---peasy!
OMG, if I could give a negative star rating I would, these are definitely worthy. They tasted like they were cooked with pool water although I always use bottled. The texture of the potatoes was even worst than the flavor, which is a pretty amazing feat. I'd bought them because I was hoping to save a few cents and hoped they would taste similar to the Idahon, unfortunately it was a fail. I will continue to spend the extra 50 cents on the name brand and spare my mouth this tragedy… Walmart REALLY needs to back to the drawing board on these.
I believe GV has a lot of good stuff, but these instant potatoes………you can taste where you are “saving” your money. I could not eat any of them even with rotisserie chicken AND gravy on top! I ended up having to move around the mashed potatoes. The texture was very strange and the smell was too. I don't know. I would have rather spent the extra $1-$2 for the Idahoan brand. Would not recommend anybody buy these, it's just not worth it. I did not enjoy them whatsoever and my cozy dinner was not so cozy with these on the plate
I have never in my life tasted anything so disgusting. If you gave these a good review, I don't believe you. These weren't even remotely good and no amounting of trying to add other ingredients to help the flavor is going to work. How did these even make it to the shelf for sale?
These potatoes were the absolute worst thing I've ever eaten. The texture was grainy, wet, and pasty and it tasted like cardboard. Just horrible. Skip these and go for the Idahoan or Bettt Crocker ones.
