I buy these Great Value Roasted %26 Salted Sunflower Kernels to put in my salad. It gives it that little added taste and crunch I enjoy. I think they are just as good, if not better than name brand sunflower kernels. So, why pay more for name brand? It's a no brainer.

Great Values sunflower seeds are really good. Maybe a tad on the salty side, but I still give them a five star rating. The seeds are nicely roasted. But no so roasted they are overly crunchy or too dried out. The natural flower seed oil can b tasted. Which I like. Plus the price is very reasonable for the amount for which you buy. I totally enjoy the fact someone else took the shells off of the seeds!

This is the best way to enjoy sunflower kernels. The simple salted kernels are great in flavor and a delight to eat. The best part…Walmart has, by far, the best price for this product. I buy the packages regularly and love them and am thankful that Walmart carries them.

I add these to my salad to boost the nutrition since I eat very little meat (lifetime habit) plus they add crunch if I don't have any croutons on hand. Not super salted. Big volume of nuts at a great price. If you like sunflower seeds but don't like hassling with the shelled ones, give these a try...you won't be disappointed.

I do keto, so I like to keep an assortment of nuts and seeds on hand for snacking. These are great, always fresh, and not too salty. They actually have a lot of health benefits. I like to sprinkle a few over salads, as well. Our whole family enjoys them.

I have bought these a couple times. The first time, they went rancid before I could eat them all, so this time I'm freezing and they're perfect for salad topping, a little snack, or using instead of nuts in recipes. Much less expensive than buying nuts.

A couple of the pkgs tasted more on the stale side. They were barely roasted, kind of a gray color. When roasted well, they should be more of a tan. That makes the best flavor for those of us that like roasted. I would try again because of the value. Hope the roasting is better.

I agree with 1 star reviewers…sunflower seeds were opened and stored properly. Shortly after we were going to eat them again, and realized they were just nasty smelling and tasting. Unfortunately this is not the first time this has happened with GV sunflower seeds, but it will be the last. Don't buy 😕

Learn my lesson hard way! Will not Order These sunflower seeds again… EACH TIME THEY TASTE SPOILED, THE FLAVOR OF PLASTIC CONTAMINATION… it is like the sunflower seeds are infused with plastic chemicals…… ; ( There is no way to fix it….. I won't even put them out for the birds because the smell and the flavor is so strong! I'm just throwing them away. PLEASE WALMART GET QUALITY CONTROL ON THE PROCESSING, AND PACKAGING OF SUNFLOWER SEEDS…. P.S. WALMART PLEASE PLEASE HELP WITH FOOD CHEMICAL CONTAMINATION OVER ALL, BY CHANGING PACKAGING TO HEALTH RESPONSIBLE BOTTLES CONTAINERS WRAPPERS BAGS ….. I personally knew Sam Walton he was a wonderful human being not eccentric at all very casual with his dogs in blue jeans and moccasins I heard firsthand what his envision was for WALMART and if he was alive today they would be a lot of lawsuits, he designed WALMART to be, primarily everything in the store made in America to help Americans and it could've worked with the right management but if you walk through a Walmart set up the largest percentage is China and other countries with very little that is made in America, and that's a shame it always comes down to profit but smart management Has failed to believe in the United States people that they will support a company if a company is really on their side some things to think about I really think that WALMART should rebrand itself completely when The people all over America need someone they can trust more than ever now! These sunflower kernels were rancid when I opened them. The expiration date is Nov 18 2026, Lot %23D25318. The taste is so bad that I could not eat them. This is not the first time I have experienced this from this brand on this particular product. I always store my nuts in the freezer to keep them fresher longer. I would attempt to return this item but I order it several weeks ago and only just opened it today when I took it out of the freezer. I won't be ordering this item from Walmart again!
