Honestly I bought a different label of tomato soup for my husband. They messaged me that they were out of it and would be substituting it for their brand. My husband said just fix it and WOW WAS HE SURPRISED . After eating their tomato soup , he told me just to buy him this one from now on. He said it has taste to it and the other one didn't. Now I order Walmart brand because that's what he wants. This substitution is one that paid off . It's his favorite!!!
This one is good with a can of mixed vegetable. just mix it in and it increase the size to your stomach and only adds 100 calories so it is really good to fill you up when you don't need the energy. i ate it four a week and lost 3 lbs while walking on my walmart 99 dollar treadmill but i only got down to 204 from 230. working on the rest now. good luck and be full not fat.
Somehow, I have been buying regularly for years in Walmart for five years every month, hoping to find something different at all from Campbell's and progressive, both of which are great or not the best and they are pretty pricey. I found these soups and they are talking about fries and taste they're the best soups I would buy any other anytime.
I hadn't tried this before, the usual grocery store brands of tomato soups are generally okay, but Cambells is always better. I guess they were out as I had a shopper pick up my order, and they bought this, well, I'm just as happy with this now. Just writing this review, I know I'll be grilling a cheese sandwich and popping open a can in the next few minutes. i also love to add some of that York cheddar in a plastic cup type food product. like Velvetta but with a cheddar bite, it's awesome. The cheese spreads come in different flavors and I get them, but the cheddar is my fav for adding to soup.
This is as good as any name brand canned soup, so why spend the extra money. I'll keep buying it as long as the quality stays the same. It has the flavor of childhood. I don't know if you've noticed, but the name brand version of this has added a lot more MSG and it shows in the flavor. They did it to reduce the sodium level, and I praise the attempt, but it literally ruined the flavor. This version doesn't have that MSG off putting taste that I associate with the name brand now.
I liked it. Of course, it was not homemade, but few people know how to make Beef and Barley soup, right. I have not made it in quite a long time myself. It was so good in this cold weather, and I was glad I had purchased more than one. Soup and saltines really hit the spot!
Like all of us, I've been looking for places to cut back on my grocery bills and realized I needed to give up my pricey (but delicious) Progresso soup habit. Though Campbell's has been a lifelong staple in my pantry, it's deteriorated in quality so much that I can't bring myself to buy it (do you agree that it tastes like Robitussin these days?). So I took a gamble on this store brand version, expecting it to taste like dog food like every other generic soup I've ever tried. But I was pleasantly surprised... it ain't bad! It has a nice, creamy texture and the flavor, though very mild, gives fresh tomato. No chemical taste at all. For under a buck per can, you can't beat it. Gamble some pocket change and give it a try.
This Chicken noodle soup tasted salty, but the real kicker was finding pieces of the chicken skin it the soup. Clumped coming out of the can, my thinking adding the water would help. It did until I seen the piece of skin in the soup. I won't buy this again. I went cheaper on the soup but now I'm back to buying Campbell's only.
I believe they should call this bean soup although the broth tasted OK I mean I don't know how they can sell this as ham and bean soup. You are throwing two dollars away to buy this. You think you're saving money but you're not saving money buying Walmart products I don't get this company. There is not one Walmart product that should be sold. It's criminal what they do with these products and they say oh, but we're a dollar cheaper on a camp. It's not ham and bean soup you're lying to the people.
your are prices too high use to be your prices for things were good n ow you find products like this one push up the price because people buy it !! ! this use to be cheap at like 69 cents now you raise it to 1.12?? people are struggling to buy food and this is how your company helps ??
