(4 pack) Hello Hobby Wood Dowel, 36” Long, 5/8-inch Diameter, Red Ends

Hello Hobby Wood Dowels are great for crafts %26 other projects around the house. I have purchased various sizes for various projects over the years. I had a couple on hand %26 am remodeling my pantry, so I decided to build a pot lid rack on the wall with some wood trim on the sides %26 the dowels spaced out to hold the handles in place so the lids rest between the wall %26 dowels. I have seen them %26 they should be easy to make. I did have to buy a 5/8" drill bit, but the bit %26 the extra dowels are the only costs now. I considered making a shelf rack with the pack of shorter/smaller dowels, but I like the look of the directly on the wall rack with dowels. I considered making them on a couple cabinet doors too, but will start with the wall rack. I am installing closet rods high so I can hang pots/pans in the normally unused space. I also made a similar rack with thinner dowels for wrapping paper %26 gift bags years ago. I have even used dowels to fix old recliners too. I have a few that I cut shorter to put into my freezer paper %26 other large wrap/foil boxes to keep the rolls centered (the box tabs don't always work on large rolls - you could also make a wall rack for them if you have wall space. You can stain or paint the dowels, but I usually just leave them as they are. If you are creative, your dowel uses are only limited by your imagination. I don't currently have a vehicle, so I am very grateful that Walmart has delivery in my area as the store is about 15 miles away in the next town %26 we don't have public transportation options here. I rarely have an issue with my delivery orders or the process. I do check that I will sign for my order %26 I meet the driver outside. I don't understand why people order grocery delivery %26 don't keep track of the delivery or pick to sign (it's actually a code now). I do suggest that you choose "sign for order" %26 utilize the "Substitutions" area to either opt out of substitutions or change it to the product you want as a substitute - the default is for the employee/Spark driver to replace with their alternative pick if your ordered item isn't available. You can also get text updates on your order (I get the texts %26 alerts from the app). I only have Walmart as a delivery option for groceries/ household items in my small rural town %26 we don't have a grocery store right here anymore - I am grateful for the delivery option! No other stores in my area deliver - only the pizza place delivers, not the nearby Target or other stores. I recommend trying a Walmart membership %26 their delivery option - they have literally been a lifesaver for me! I don't have to worry about how I am getting to the store because the online ordering %26 delivery drivers bring the store to me.

It is an amazing dowel! Probably the best one I have ever seen. Whoever made it is an artist in my opinion. I would like to give it a rating of 10 not just five!

My flag pole bent and I had to use 2 pieces that didn't fit together properly so I added this inside and it does a great job and makes the pole sturdier. and lasts for years outdoors. good buy

These wooden dowels are awesome! I use them for support to create Baby Closets for Baby Showers! I only buy them at Wal-Mart, and I haven't had any issues with them.

The dowel was not straight. What was I thinking? Why would anyone pull this order and choose the one that wasn't straight? It is useless to me. My mobility kept me from being able to shop myself and it is extremely hard to find a scooter most days so I took a chance and ordered it for pick up. I didnt notice until I got home because I asked for the items to be put in my backseat. It is not worth me returning it to the store.
