True Southern Taste
Growing up in southern middle Tennessee I am quite familiar with how our comfort food should taste even though I don't cook that way. Often times store bought food, pre seasoned, missed the mark. But the powder flavor in these takes me back to my mom‘s slow cooked all day flavor without having to spend a lot of extra money on actual meat.

This brand is hard to find. There's a reason for that. Inside the package is a small packet of ham flavor. It really makes a difference. When you don't have a ham bone to cook with your beans, this is the best alternative. Soak your beans overnight, and slow cook in a crockpot. Best pinto beans ever made.

Beans For Protein
These beans have been around since 1938. I grew up eating these beans (I'm now 63; they are hard to find and was so happy to know Walmart stock it). The quality is excellent and they cook up right and the ham flavor packet that's included taste awesome.

You can't go wrong with this brand or the beans
Have been buying this brand for years. The packet of ham flavoring is a true added value to the beans. You can also buy the flavor packets online and use in other recipes. I have done it.

Excellent Product
The best pinto beans you can buy now. There is a seasoning packet included that I have never used but the beans are nice and large. They cook well and taste really good. The cost is a bit higher than other brands but the product is worth it.

Very Good Taste
I've eaten beans all my life. To be honest, I usually bought store brand. One day I purchased this brand. Cooked beans with a ham hock. Boy oh boy, delicious. 'Cousre I cooked cornbread too. My tummy was so happy :) Before cooking, soak beans at least two hours. These also good cooked in slow cooker. No more store brand beans for me.

I won't buy anything other than Hambeen pintos! Have them very often and always keep a pkg in the pantry
