This is great seasoning salt. It has less sodium, simple ingredients. I use it literalky for anything, seasoning chicken, beef, pork, seafood, vegetables, I use it in casseroles even in soups. It's a pantry staple for sure. It doesn't cake , taste is jot overwhelming. Great price for the quality.
I am always looking to reduce sodium but keep flavor up and this Lawry's Reduced Sodium seasoning salt delivered! My dishes are so flavorful and delicious without any of the extra sodium, which is especially important with my health goals. It's excellent for a variety of dishes and I can't recommend it enough!
Lawry's Seasoned Salt has been a staple in my kitchen for years. It adds great flavor to everything from meats and vegetables to potatoes and eggs. The 25% less sodium version is a win because I can enjoy the same great taste while cutting back on salt. A must-have seasoning for everyday cooking!
We use Lawry's salt on everything in our house. The fact there is now a less sodium version is amazing! Now I feel a little bit better about seasoning things with Lawry's Seasoned Salt. The taste is exactly the same. We've been putting it on fries, avocado toast, chicken, and everything else.
We really enjoyed using this reduced sodium seasoning. We were worried this reduced-sodium version would taste bland, but we were wrong! It still delivered the perfect combination of salt, herbs, and spices, and we didn't feel like we were compromising on taste.
I received the less sodium McCormick season salt and I can say that it does taste less saltier than the original. It's still has that salty taste to it but you are able to get more flavor from the other spices. With this one, a little goes along way. Are used it on my chicken and two season. Some eggs. I do not eat beef or pork. But I would imagine it taste good on those as well. This is a really good seasoning to have in your kitchen. If you want to add flavor to any meal.
Overall I have liked using Lawry's seasoning over the years but steered away from it because of the high salt flavor. This less sodium option is a great option now, but would like more flavor options. I have a few other seasonings that I like that offer more flavor but Lawry's is a good solid and safe choice when cooking for a group of people.
I grew up in Brooklyn, NY with Lawry's always in our cupboard, it was a staple. The thing about the original though was it could be so salty that you had to be careful not to get heavy handed with it. With this reduced sodium version, I can immediately tell the sodium has been dialed back, but that same great Lawry's flavor I love is still present and accounted for. Looking forward to continuing the tradition with this new variety in my own cupboard.
I received Lawry's 25% Less Sodium Seasoned Salt courtesy of Lawry's and Bzzagent. I used it to season burger patties, steak tops and veggies. The Lawry's seasoned the food well without being overpowering. The taste was great and not too salty. I definitely prefer this to the original.
I used to love this stuff, but I think they changed it and now it's disappointing. It's mostly salt and maybe a little red spice of some sort in it. Anyway, it's nothing like it used to be. and I'm very disappointed. I think you would be better off using spices you have on hand. Would not recommend.
