(4 pack) Mainstays 3-Piece Nonstick Aluminum Skillet Set, Black

Got this pan set for my brand new renovated kitchen. Fits well with the theme. The 3 sizes makes it perfect for use depending on the meal servings and family members to cook for. It's non stick which makes it perfect to prepare various kinds of meals without having to worry about food sticking to the bottom although I recommend applying a bit of oil spray just in case as I wouldn't want my spatulas to scratch the bottom and just glide over it to pour the food down on the serving dishes. Although it states it's dishwasher safe I come to find that most of my cookware tend to have a long life Spam because we hand wash them which extends it's durability and life of use. It's light weight and stackable taking less space in our cabinet area. Overall it's a great set for a family of 4.

These skillets called to me as they come in my favorite color! They are the first non-stick skillets I have tried that are not Teflon. I just didn't believe they wouldn't stick, but I was so wrong. They are a nice weight/thickness without being overly heavy. Beautifully even heating. Paired with silicone utensils I think they will last for years.

Love this set of nonstick pans!!! Super easy to clean, not heavy so easy on the wrists! Love cooking in these, they are a bit thinner than I’m used to so lower cooking temp until you are used to using thing them is recommended! But in all I give an A+++!

I found that the Mainstays 3 Piece Skillet set is not only non-stick, pretty, and affordable, The set comes with 3 non-stick pans, one 11-inch in diameter, one 9-inch in diameter, and one 7-inch in diameter. They are amazingly lightweight. In the eleven inch frypan, I was able to make a complete breakfast and it slid beautifully right out of the pan. The nine-inch pan made grilled cheese and as always, the cheese melted before the bread was done, but it all slid out onto the plate without a problem. I love that they are so easy to clean with just a sponge, dish detergent, and warm water. Dishwasher cleaning is not recommended. I followed directions and allowed the pans to cool on the stove before washing, since a hot pan may warp when subjected to cool to cold water temperatures. I also read the instructions that state these pans are not suitable for oven use, which is fine with me because I've never put a frying pan in an oven. It is also recommended that the pans not be subject to high heat or flames, which is the usual advice for any non-stick pan. They also are not suitable for induction cooking, but my stove is gas and they work beautifully.

So far so good. First off - I really like the teal color. Very nice! The first time I tried to cook with then, there was an off-putting smell once the got hot. I washed them (by hand) one more time and tried again. The smell was barely there. Overall i like the quality and the look. Would recommend.

There are 3 skillets. They are very good sizes...especially because they are not gigantic and super heavy also because most times I am only making food for myself. So far food isn't sticking and also they really did clean up very well. I don't use a very high heat so maybe that helps. The color is a dark teal for the body of the of the skillets and handles are black. I really like these because they are easy to use....especially because of their weight!!!

They're fine for the price point but they are definitely not round. One side of all 3 pans are smushed in making it flat on one side. This does not however bother the cooking surface. They cook hot so you have to really watch them. Very lightweight and easy to handle. I love the color, it's so pretty and is a nice pop in my kitchen. Not pans that are going to last forever but again for the price point they're perfect.

Packaging: The packaging on this skillet set was simple, paperboard kept the three from banking against each other and then the set was packaged in a bubble wrapper and then in a paper stuffed box. Description: These are three small skillets from the Mainstays brand at Walmart. This set is made up of three very basic skillets. Small med and large, but these are very thin metal and the aluminum on the bottom has these concentric grooves that have already gotten a bit dirty from basic use. These groves are not super easy to clean. Usage: After using these on my most recent week of Hello Fresh meals, they performed well and the new non stick worked very well. The issue is the pan is pretty thin and a small drop already has a bend in the pan. The sizes are not very big either, so cooking for three people had me only in the largest of the pans, but when I cooked some eggs and an omelet, the smaller pas had their day in the sun 😊 Overall: For quality, I'd give these a 3 out of 5, value 5 out of 5 as they are very inexpensive. Don't expect to much from these pans if you do a lot of cooking.

Mainstay skillet set is a light and thin aluminum skillet. The skillets do wash easily and are great for frying eggs and pancakes but that's about it. Most meat sticks to the skillet even with oil or butter. They are by no means excellent quality but if you just need a light skillet for simple things they would work perfectly

I really hate giving negative reviews but i just cant find anything great to say about these skillets. I could tell as soon as i picked them up theyvwere cheaply made. Super light weight. The "nonstick" coating is not nonstick. I even used spray pan and my eggs stuck. I would not recommend putting these in the dishwasher. I woukd be afraid the paint would peel off. Even the plastic handles feel like the might melt in the dishwasher. I will not be using these. I plan to donate them. I have mainstay cheaper set that is by far better quality. The only thing i do like about them is the skillet sizes.
