I use this bowl as a plate or a bowl. Love them. I have six that match up with the same pattern mugs and a white shiny bowl with black rim. Also six pcs.

This is the perfect size for a salad that's a meal. It's so easy to clean and much healthier than that plastic thing that would absorb the tomato color if not washed immediately. Ceramic or glass is the way to go.

For the price these bowls are really nice and decorative. They have weight to them and although they are affordable they look like a nice quality. I luv them. They are a pretty nice size too. I definitely say buy this and pick a friend some up too.

really love these bowl plate things they are great for having small portion of food and don't want sliding everywhere and off the plate so I bought four of them and everybody always wants to use them

This isn't what it's for but my dog doesn't like sticking her nose into a deep bowl. This is heavy and better yet ceramic so no scratches that bacteria can get in and grow. Dog loves it and it is easy to clean and deep enough dog food stays in bowl. Would be nice for a side plate too or to store tomatoes or fruit on the counter.

Wow! These are great dinner bowls, stoneware, well made, microwave safe, dishwasher safe, good size 8.6" in diameter, multiple uses not just for dinner, they were packaged very well-each one was wrapped and they were delivered quickly. Oh, and the price can't be beat!

These bowl/plates are a perfect size %26 shape. I prefer them to regular flat plates now. I love the appearance of the satin black finish, although it doesn't seem like a hard enough glaze. One of these arrived with a tiny chip on the rim, and there are imperfections like ripples %26 bumps in the glaze. Overall, that's okay, but these do have to be babied. Not sure how well they'd do with repeated dishwasher cycles because I handwash everything anyway. I hope this bowl/plate trend continues well into the future because they're so sensible besides looking attractive.

While I cannot fault the quality of this bowl in terms of physical appearance/esthetics, the design leaves something to be desired inasmuch as it takes extra thought to maintain a grip on it. So for folks with a lot on their minds or young kids trying to set the table....I'd give these bowls a hard pass. I liked their last design better.

These are very nice! They are heavy and a great size. They are perfect for pasta or messy dishes. The only downside is they can chip if you are not careful. That being said they do clean very well. Overall I would recommend these. For the price they are a great value.

I ordered plastic bowls using them to make dish gardens but they were replaced with heavy stone wear which i cannot drill holes in them for drainage i reorded the bowls again and got the correct plastic ones. what am i to do with heavy stoneware which i have no use for?
