Get this! True story! I've never experienced eating a boiled egg. Just wasn't appealing to me, until recently. On a visit, I witnessed the making of deviled eggs (another reason not to eat boiled eggs. The name "deviled" to describe eggs). A No way! This questionable recipe requires Paprika. When the dish was done, I was asked to try one. I immediately had an image of my lips pickering, shaking my head to avoid any contact with the devil food, as if I were six years old. I didnt do that. Instead, as a grown up I plucked one of the eggs from the platter to taste. Surprisingly, it was Good. Very tasty. In fact I ate three of them. I didn't want to be a food hog. Needless to say, after that experience, I found the recipe for deviled eggs and bought the same brand of Paprika to make my own eggs. They were even more delicious. Because, I made them. The recipe is specific to McCormick Kosher Paprika! So.... right on the money! I now use McCormick Kosher Paprika in several dishes. So yum!
Hungarian Paprika is famous around the world, and was always on hand in my late Grandmother's kitchen. From Körözöt to Chicken Paprikash and Cabbage Rolls it was always used to enliven the dishes my Grandmother made... Not too spicy, not too bland, just tiny reminiscence of a touch of pepper that you don't really notice until you've eaten some...
Nice subtle flavor and nice color profile. I use this for many purposes including in my yogurt marinades and chicken paprika dishes. Been buying this for many years and will continue to do so.
The McCormick Paprika its the one you can count on. Many people think that Paprika is just coloring but Paprika has a distinctive taste all of its own. I use it in my for pork chops and chicken. I prefer the McCormick Culinary Paprika because I know it will have the true taste of Paprika.
I've tried a few different brands of paprika, but McCormick usually seems to have the best balance of flavor and freshness. Compared to others, it has a richer color and a smoother, slightly sweet taste that really enhances everything from deviled eggs to roasted vegetables. I would definitely buy this product again!
McCormick Paprika is a standout in the spice world, offering a rich, smoky flavor that elevates any dish. Whether you're sprinkling it on roasted vegetables, adding depth to soups, or using it as a vibrant garnish, this paprika brings a warm, subtly sweet kick without overpowering the other flavors. Its consistent quality and vibrant color make it a pantry staple, and the balanced, natural taste enhances everything from classic recipes to creative new dishes. McCormick's paprika is a must-have for anyone who enjoys flavorful, well-crafted spices.
The first thing that attracted me was the richness of the color of paprika. It looked premier. I wasn't disappointed in my assessment. For everything I used this for, there was a pop of rich color that doesn't come with all paprikas. I used it to mix in a recipe and I used it to top off deviled eggs. So so good and highly recommended!
I prefer this variety of paprika instead of the smoked variety. I received the smoked type because of substitution in my pickup, but rather than return I kept. I tried the smoked type in my Mac and Cheese but did not like, so bought the plain variety once back in stock.
I received this product free for reviewing purposes and I was pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoy using it. This seasoning has earned it's way into my everyday rotation. I love the color is gives to whatever im using it on and how it give a subtle flavor thats not overpowering.
Literally waste of money!! zero taste, flavour or odour! just for colouring! should be scrapped! McCormick, shame on you for even CHARGING for this pile of worthless nothing!
