Just tried this one since I've had Nongshim Spicey beef noodles previously. These are great and spicer than the regular bowls. A little creamier texture with the bone broth. Simple to make, remove the lid, open the two spice packs and put in the cup. Add tap water to the line and nuke for 2:30-3:30 mins depending on how you like your noodles. Al dente to soft. Perfect every time. Price was $2.22 but the bowls are like $1.38 apiece. I'm planning to buy them by the case. Good survival food. (Just add hot water) Next I want to try the lobster flavor.
I don't know what they put in these things, but I'm totally addicted - can't go a day without my noodle fix. The only thing that bothers me is that 15-cent markup. Seriously, who jacks up a $2 cup of soup by 7%?
It's a great noodle bowl, I go lower than full boil on the water, the texture of the noodles is better. The broth has a great taste, and it is less spicy than other Nongshim products.
Best instant cup of ramyun you can get. Big chunks of mushrooms, lots of flavor, good spice, noodles are great texture. Orders of magnitude better than a cup of noodles.
Quick and easy, i add some soy and hoi-sin sauce. considering the pathetic quantity of veggies etc that are in dried packets, it isn't even remotely sufficient to enhance the flavor, suggest buying a small packet of salad toppings to add in. good for 2, or with enough leftover for tomorrow for you.
I've been eating these noodles for years and overpaying for them… But lately pricing has gotten even more ridiculous. That said, I'm still the idiot paying for it! Lol - they really are great noodles.
(Notes at bottom to reference other reviews) Because of Nongshim Black, I can’t eat cheap cup noodles anymore. I’m not supposed to eat gluten, so these are a huge no-no. I was craving cup noodles because I was binge watching Korean dramas and every 5 minutes I saw someone eating ramyun… I had hives anyway, so I went for it. I picked these because of the bone broth. I’m not a spicy food eater so I was worried, but these have a good level of spice. It’s right on the verge of uncomfortable, but the richness of the bone broth helps to balance it out. Rich Flavorful Spicy Smooth Comfort food I love the big chunks of mushroom The bite and thickness of the noodles is excellent! These don’t turn instantly to mush like most do. These are the only cup noodles/instant noodles that I don’t add anything to. NOTHING… Usually I would add egg (fried or soft boiled), soy sauce, cheese, roasted seaweed, meat slices, kimchi etc I feel like adding stuff to these is an insult to the noodles. They are expensive compared to most, so I tried the Nongshim Shin noodles (not the “black” variety) to see if I could save money.. nope. Not the same. Not as good. That bone broth is EVERYTHING! I prepare them with boiling water, not in microwave. Walmart needs to fix the heading because it is NOT a 3 pack!! HELPFUL TIPS: They are cheaper on Amazon. ($1.60 each in 6 pack.. also EBT eligible) There are 2 soup base packets inside: the BEIGE packet is the bone broth (dump that ALL in) and the YELLOW packet contains the spicy ingredients. You can adjust spice level by adding less of the yellow packet, though it might be less flavorful. I just add a bit extra water if I want a little less intensity. These get 4/5 stars from me because they are expensive. I do believe these are PREMIUM though, as far as cup noodles go. Highly recommend trying them! If you want more spice and a less rich flavor, go for the regular Nongshim shin noodles.. but if you want premium, always bet on Black.
Idk for me it's just mostly spice. I don't get the beef broth which was a bummer. Paying for what should be premium ramen- I don't think it's worth it.
3 of the 4 ramen cups were open. They were not sealed. Whoever selects the products for shipping should ensure the product is sealed. We will not consume an open product. In addition I had ordered a 4 pack which usually comes in a sealed box %26 these are individual cups.
My cup of noodles was open when I picked them up. They need to be sealed with plastic wrap or something
