16 oz. was exactly the size I wanted. Not too big. Not too little. Etching and circumfrance makes it very easy too hold. Doesn't slip. Surprisingly strong. After the Walmart driver carefully delivered my grocery package with these jars on the porch, my son brought in the grocery bag and accidentally dropped it on the ceramic floor. i expected to find a bag of broken glass. But no, these jars were perfectly intact. Great jars! i will buy many more to hold spices, peppers, tea, etc. P.S. The lids screw on easily and remain tight. And, the ad for them displayed some nice crafting ideas.

Perfect for what I needed them for. I make a Lemon Ginger drink for my mornings, and I can make it all on Sunday and have it all week. No Tinney taste like from cans.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality! Also great is that the lid is one piece. The jar surface is smooth; that makes labeling easier. Most importantly, the price was perfect, and I was able to buy the amount I needed. I didn't have to buy an entire case of 12 or more. Thank you, Walmart!!!

It's cheap. If you want a cheap mason jar, get it. It does the job if a mason jar. Nothing fancy, but why would a mason jar need to be fancy? I've been making garlic honey in mine. If I don't get the lid on just right it will leak. So make sure you have that light tight.

This product was given as a substitute for a pint canning jar. The lid screws on, but the product does say it is food grade. I'm not a "canner" so I don't know how this product would work under the hot conditions needed to seal. You would need to provide your own seal and ring. As far as a storage jar, it looks nice and is well made. I only gave it four stars because it was not a "canning" jar like I wanted.

bought this jar to hold sourkrout in for use on hot dogs and brauts because only use a small amount each time and the sourkrout only comes in cans that cannot be easily resealed easily to store left over sourkrout for future use. This works great but had to use a cover from a different jar of the same size I ordered at the same time to accomplish my objective.

The glass doesn't seem to be as thick as the name brands. It is still sturdy and works as containers which is why I bought them. I don't know if they work for canning or freezing. I bought two and they were thrown in a soft plastic bag together with no padding. By some miracle they arrived unbroken. Be warned.

This singular glass jar was nice to be able to purchase on its own outside of a big canning pack. If you wanna save a couple quarter$ you could get the same at the dollar store. The mason jar sealed tightly so the vinegar and cucumber smell didn't get out.

Nice size. Nice jars. Nice price. Glass is thin a fragile. My wife cracked one while scooping the contents out with a spoon. The spoon tapped the glass and a large crack appeared.

the item itself is good. my complaint is with thd packaging. 5 of the jars were broken. they were just put in the box with no protection and only brown paper on top of the jars
