Best item to use for a Pet-Owner Present!! 🎁 I decorated mine with my sister's cats (Lily 🌺 and Dragon 🐲) for her Christmas present. 🎄I love the inner or lower layers to place mini photos in them. 🌅 The rest of it was just perfect for various decorations! 🎨 You could just go all out on it. 🎭 I'll definitely select this product again for another Pet Owner!! ❤️💕

It's really cute! But I would recommend using wood primer like I used for this project.

I chose this item because I have lost two pets in the last 24 months... This will be a tribute to my beloved pets. It is the perfect size and the fact that I can add my own special touch is awesome. The wood and the shape of the item is great quality which assures me that this project will last a long to.

So many possibilities for an animal and craft lover! It is about 7 inches wide by 6 1/8 high at its widest points and 1/8 inch thick. Even though it is not very thick the wood is very sturdy so would work great as a standalone hanging with a hanger glued on the back or even a drilled rope hanger. I used acrylic paint and the paint went on nicely. It is very smooth so there was no need to sand it or anything which I loved. You could wood burn this but since it isn't very thick, and the wood is soft I would say to use a light touch if you do so you don't get a very deep burn. I have so many gift ideas for these. One thing I had thought about is to glue pictures of pets in the toe pads as a very personalized gift or for your own pets. Once I can print pictures the right size of my cats, I may change this for myself or get another one. You can never have too many pet related decorations in your home in my opinion. This would also be cute if you have a pet food bin to attach it to the outside with glue. If you were to clear coat and weather proof it, it would also be cute on an outside dog house with your pets name on the foot pad. Your imagination is your only limit!

I do a lot of DIY crafts and this Plaid dog paw shape was perfect for what I wanted. I made a dog house for my dog to relax in during the summer for some shade. I wanted a nice decoration for the front of it. I got this 7" dog paw shape made of Baltic birch. I like to get these Plaid precision laser cut shapes because the are ready to finish however I choose. I started mine using a light base coat and will finish with a light brown color to match her fur. I like this size and shape and will have room in the middle to add her name. I use acrylic paints on my wooden projects most of the time but there are many ways to decorate them. I'll seal the plaque with a clear varnish to add extra durability from the weather. Always so many possibilities using any of the Plaid wooden shapes.

This Layered Wooden Paw Print Shape from Plaid Enterprises, Inc. is absolutely adorable! The wood is unfinished so you can paint and decorate it however you like. The wood is laser cut and layered so the shapes are not only extremely precise, but that layered wood adds texture making it look quality made. The paw shape is a really nice size at 7" and gives you plenty of room to add detailing like glitter, stickers, stenciling, wood burning and much more. The bottom of the paw shape is shaped just like a dog or cat's paw pad and the four 'toes' all have equal sized oval shapes. I think these would be perfect for cutting out photos of your pet and gluing them in the oval areas. Or you could paint designs or add pet names or anything you feel creative enough to do. The wood takes acrylic and crafting paint very well and the paint dries quickly and evenly. Plus it doesn't smudge or run. And you don't have to add numerous coats of paint either. The wood doesn't seem to absorb the paint so you actually get bright, vivid color on your wooden paw shape. You could hang your finished paw shape on the wall or add it to a larger piece or painting or add it to a collage of pet themed crafts. There's really endless possibilities of what you could do with this super cute wooden paw shape. The wood paw shape is very thin but it still remains very sturdy and durable. I painted mine, glued photos into the oval 'toe' areas, stenciled my pets name and added a variety of other decorative features like glitter, stickers, stamps and hot glued on other items and this wooden paw shape didn't crack or split at all. It held up perfectly through all my painting, gluing and decorating. This would make a great gift for any pet and/or craft lover. I definitely plan on purchasing more and painting and decorating them for my family and friend's pets. I know they'll love this charming wooden paw shape as much as I do. Highly recommended!!

I had a great time painting these to put up in my hippie hut to show my love for dogs. I used 3 different colors of paint and I think they turned out really good. The paint went on great. The possibilities of using this wood paw can go in so many places for decorating projects. I definitely recommend this product

This piece of unpainted paw print wood is nicely carved out and smooth to the touch without any shards or rough surfaces. This makes painting this piece a lot easier without looking unfinished. Since this piece is actually layered with the trim to create the paw print look, it feels more sturdy than some of the other wood pieces from this company that I have also received. I may place sticky pads on the back in order to place this on our dog's kennel. It will be a cute addition to add to the decor.

I do a lot of crafts and I got this large Wooden Paw Plaque to paint and use to place in the Middle of my wreath I made for a lady who Loves cats. It was the perfect accent on the Wreath. You can paint it or decorate it any way You like. The paw is 7 inches in size and can Be used for many things
