Perfect for sending leftovers to work with my husband for lunch and not worrying that they won't make it back home. They stack easily for storage and in the fridge. These were the perfect size to store Family Snack Mix on the drive down to Hatteras Island. Bagged snack mix or homemade, these containers are the perfect solution. They are very sturdy and last - and if you forget them on vacation, you won't be bummed out you lost Tupperware. The lids are reliable, and easy close, even for my Grandmother's arthritic hands. Bonus, you can let the kids use them for shells without fretting you're losing expensive containers. I highly recommend these, they are a great bargain for your money and they last!!!

Rubbermaid Take-Alongs are a big part of our family. These work great for our card nights and family get togethers. We live within walking distance of one another and we gather at my home 3 nights a week for Pinochle and food and also for holiday meals, and for;... just because Alex smoked a salmon, or Cody barbecued ribs or made spaghetti, or Amanda made a meatloaf or a pot of stew, or I made fried rice and made chowmein or Adobo or fried taquitos or chicken. We love to eat and cook and we love doing it together more. Good food Good company = a Good Life. Comparable to other freezer to microwave disposable food containers, like Glad and Ziplock, Take-Alongs come in a larger variety of shapes and sizes, My son says they are perfect (he built the storage cabinet where they live). He stores his spaghetti sauce in amounts perfect for a meal, he uses them to marinate, and carry meal prep items from his home to the big gas smoker/barbecue at his son's house, we use them for tossing salad, making potato salad, or macaroni salad, freezing left overs for later, My daughter uses them to transport everything from banana bread to homemade buttermilk salad dressing, homemade butter, edema', or taking home left overs. So, these containers do some traveling, but no worries, if they stain or get damaged just throw them away.

One of two sizes I use for food storage and freezing. They handle a fair amount of product, freeze evenly, and last. Don't make the mistake, as advertised, that they're good straight to microwave because they usually "blister" in the microwave. Until I paid attention and noticed, I would use the ruined units as dry storage.

During a move, they were useful to keep food during long days. We just needed something durable but temporary to protect cooked food. They were useful and easy to seal when we needed them.

I have had one of these five cup bowls for over 2 years. it's just now getting to the end of its life hence the purchase! it's still seals excellently and has not fallen from its obligation to untiringly deliver this quality everyday! I have some of the permanent stuff too but I use it differently than I use these and I love that this is perfect for people on a budget are people who actually breathe air!

These containers are awesome. From table to fridge and or freezer. When freezing like when I make spaghetti sauce or chili, I use these. I out a puce if masking tape double back on lid with contents and date. Keeps contents fresh!!! Just love em!!!!

These work well, look good and the seal is acceptable. They hold a decent amount and are space saving in the fridge. Cons: They stain badly when tomato/meat based food is stored (chili and spaghetti, etc.) and when I used them to heat Rice-A-Roni in the microwave the bottom melted. Good containers, but know their limitations.

Maybe it was just the batch I got but these were very very difficult to put the lid on. I would get the three corners on and sealed %26 the fourth corner just did not want to go and when I would almost get it down another one would pop up.

The plastic is very thin on these. The container didn't even last being washed before use. Picked it up and the top sides were cracked in some places where the lid meets the container to snap it shut. There was nothing in the dish water but my containers. Used regular hot water from the tap and the other storage containers purchased from another brand were just fine. Unless it was a manufacturer defect, they are too thin for normal use.
