I actually bought this to flip upside down and hook onto my big buddy heater handle so that I can heat water in a pan on for emergency preparedness. It hooks on perfectly and will provide a sturdy stove for heating water or a can of soup if I ever need an alternative heat source in an emergency.
Easy to use.
This Rust and solvent metal bucket grid is what I was waiting on, this makes the task of painting so much easier. I don't have to bend my back constantly to make sure the rolling of brush contact the pan. Now, I just stand straight up and roll my roller up and down with full coverage and go to painting. And it easily rinses.
Although this is supposed to be used when one is painting (which is what I got this for). After I got it home, I had an idea. This could come in handy when canning season starts this fall. Same 5 gal. bucket only I laid the screen on top of the bucket. Trial run worked great. I put the jar on top of the screen and ladled some water in the jar. Any accidental spillage went into the bucket and not on the counter top.
This is such a simple yet very helpful, in my opinion a necessity, when painting. It moves the job along faster easier and also cuts way down on making a mess. It fits easily inside a bucket, is easy to spray off after use for the next project. It came pretty bent up though. I would recommend anyone doing any kind of painting to get this product to make everything easier, faster and cleaner.
i tried using this both ways in the paint pan and it just made things more awkward. it kept wanting to pull out when id try to run the rolled backwards to get an even coat of paint. it honestly was more hassle than it was worth.
Got this to use while repainting some kitchen cabinets. Have never used one of these before but thought it might be helpful or faster than just using a pan. Product arrived slightly bent, but easily corrected. As far as quality goes it was constructed correctly. As far as useful in my application I found it really wasn’t better than just using a tray/pan. Perhaps I was using it wrong, not sure.
Great price, but light in quality. Bought this to help save paint from a 5 gallon bucket when rolling without having to waste paint by having to pour the paint into a paint tray. The price was great, but the metal mesh is very light and flimsy. Wished that it was a thicker and sturdier metal grate.
The metal paint grid came in a thin plastic bag with jut any cushioned packaging and was bent. I straightened it out the best I could but it would not lay flat when suspended from the 5 gallon bucket. I filled an empty bucket full of water first to see if the shape would still be suitable to use with paint. It was not.
Never used it. Really do not need it. Wish I could return it.
