I usually get a full pork tenderloin monthly and have the meat cutter slice it into pork chops. I've been doing this for years. And this is one of the absolute best coatings that I've ever tried. It's perfect! Just the right amount of seasonings without being overpowering. And the perfect amount of crispiness. This will be one of my new go-to's when it comes to pork seasonings!
If you are one of those little salt little pepper people this isn't for you. For everyone else that likes some seasoning; go on and add this to cart!! This is great on pork and chicken...I've even done it on twice baked potatoes! I love this stuff and so does my picky kids!
Love the Stubbs brand and trying this seasoning coating has a nice flavor and plenty of mix in the package.
This coating mix has a great flavor, and it's very easy to use. We tried it last week, a nice alternative to stuffing. I am looking forward to trying other Stubb's Seasoning mixes.
Using the Stubbs Seasoned Pork Coating helped add more flavor to a boring weekday meal. It has a sweet-smoky flavor and the pork chops had a nice crispy crust. It's easy to use except it's missing the usual plastic bag that comes in other brands mixes. That's ok, less waste, we just used a Tupperware container to help coat pork chops evenly. I'd definitely buy it again and recommend it to friends who like simple yet tasty meals!
I tried Stubb's® Pork Seasoned Coating Mix, 5 oz. I loved how easy it was to open the box, dump the batter into a dish to coat and bake in 20 minutes without turning. I don't usually use coating on my pork but I will be from now on. My family was very impressed by the flavor. I would recommend.
I usually cook the same meats each week and the same seasoning. So a lot of times it making meals become boring. So from time to try I look out for different seasoning to give them a try. I purchased Stubb's Pork Seasoned Coating Mix. I like that this allows me to cook my pork chops in the oven and still gives it a bit of a crust like it was fried so it's a bit healthier. The flavor was a little smokey and not too salty to me. It was good, I would try another flavor blend from this brand.
There is more than enough for 3 to 4 pork chops. Overall flavor os good it is a little salty for my taste. I followed the instructions to use bbq sauce. I used an air fryer but the coating was mushy in the end I'm assuming because of the grease from the meat. I also used it on onion rings with an egg wash. The salty flavor came out more o. The onions but got crispier.
it's OK. but the Great Value Honey Bourbon is better. This really didn't have much flavor, kinda flat taste to it.
So so so salty. I ended up scraping most of the coating off because I couldn't handle how salty it was. I did get a slight bbq taste as well but it was just so overpowered by the salt.
