I tried it with the tea being room temperature and the milk chilled on ice and I hope that with both chilled the taste will be better, more smooth. Otherwise it was still good. There was no aftertaste, it was a little weird being green, but other green things are delicious so why not. Both the tea concentrate and the lactose free milk were cream based and the caffeine didn’t bother me because right after drinking it I took a 2 1/2 hour nap.
I liked the single carton so much that I had to get the cheaper/ serving 6 pack. This matcha latte concentrate might be too sweet for some, so try the single carton first. The powdered version is another good option, but this concentrate is super convenient. Smooth and sweet, with a slower caffeine absorbtion than coffee or tea.
Love! Love! Love! This makes all my matcha dreams come true. Great authentic flavor. Combines well with other flavors. Purchase weekly. Highly recommend!!!
I love matcha I did not always have the time to make it from powder. This makes it very easy to mix with oat milk over rice and I’m ready to go. I find it a little sweet, but it’s still very delicious and enjoyable.
Tazo teas and lattes are not the cheapest drinks, but they're much cheaper than Starbucks and so easy to use. This matcha latte has a delicious light honey dew melon flavor. Mix equal parts of this concentrate with hot or cold milk.
We use this in our coffee shop to make hot and iced tea lattes. We also use it with a vanilla frappe dry mix to make blended drinks. It seems to hold up well with milk, soy milk and almond milk. We switched to this product when Oregon Chai stopped making their Match Tea Latte Concentrate. The only problem is that Walmart.com has trouble keeping it in stock consistently.
It tastes like pear flavored tea, and I re-read the packaging to make sure I didn't accidentally pick pear flavored tea. I have to add more concentrate than milk to get a strong tea-like flavor and color. I tried it with both unsweetened almond milk and coconut milks that I like plain or mixed with other drinks. Afterwards I had a terrible sugar rush. I think I'll try this in a smoothie, but I'm not interested in this as a matcha latte.
It absolutely taste nothing like real Matcha. This tastes more like the canned Matcha with the pearl drinks, zero Matcha flavor. chemical taste only
This is not matcha flavored, it tastes like apple/honeydew juice with a hint of matcha on the side! It is overwhelmingly sweet too, so I would not recommend and it’s not the matcha anyone expects!!
Taste NOTHING like Starbucks, not even close. I read the reviews and took a chance because they were good reviews. But I wish I didn't, what a waste of money. Has a strong melon flavor and horrible aftertaste. GROSS. I love green and this taste nothing like it. Nothing. I dumped it out and went straight to Starbucks for my Venti Green Tea Latte fix. Next time I'm going to go with the pure matcha powder. Don't waste your money!!!!!
