To be honest I've become my own barista at home! 😅 I love this product from Tazo! All you have to do is add your choice of milk/cream. I got about 4-5 drinks out of this entire carton. Definitely worth the cost. You're basically paying about $6 for a few drinks at home that you would otherwise pay more at a Starbucks for the same ONE product. Like I said, I've become a barista at home and I can certainly control what other additional ingredients I put in my drink 💚🩷
I bought this to make the Starbucks Iced Cherry Chai latte at home— guess what? It tastes exactly the same!!! Recipe: Fill your cup with ice, then fill the cup with 3/4 of the chai liquid, 1/4 milk (of your choice), top with vanilla cold foam from International Delights (also sold at Walmart). Last before adding the foam to your drink, mix Cherry Torani syrup into the foam until it’s pink. That’s it!!! Super delicious!! This is my summer drink!! 🥰 🩷 The Momlife Collective
Great tea! As I got older, the coffee I'd enjoyed in the morning my whole life from about 13 or 14 on started to make me feel a bit jittery, so after 50 years of heavy coffee drinking (often drank one or more pots a day, especially at work), I switched to tea. The bookstore across the street from our home had a Starbucks inside and I often enjoyed a chai tea when in there checking out new books and shopping for CD's, so my wife found this brand to make at home for me. I love it! She adds a healthy serving of cream she's whipped up with the 'frother' on her Espresso machine in and on top of my 20 ounce mug and it's absolutely delicious. Spicy but mellow and so flavorful, two mugs even has just the right amount of caffeine to get my 70 year old (this coming September) butt goin' in the mornings. ;-) If you're a fan, this is excellent chai. Recommended.
This is quite good, for what it is. When I have the time I make one from scratch with the matcha powder and fresh strawberry syrup, etc, and it is of course much better. However for the ability to open the fridge and pour this into a glass and have it ready in about 60 seconds, this is decent and I will buy it again. I put in more (soy) milk than the instructions because it is too sweet for me otherwise. Also, just as an aside, when I make my latte from scratch, it is also brown. That is what happens when you mix green and red.
I tried it with the tea being room temperature and the milk chilled on ice and I hope that with both chilled the taste will be better, more smooth. Otherwise it was still good. There was no aftertaste, it was a little weird being green, but other green things are delicious so why not. Both the tea concentrate and the lactose free milk were cream based and the caffeine didn’t bother me because right after drinking it I took a 2 1/2 hour nap.
Same stuff Starbucks uses for their chai latte and you get more cups Outback of this for less price than Starbucks, buy this and enjoy a cheaper drink even though you got to make it yourself poor baby
Chai tea latte is my favorite drink. And this brand is by far my favorite. Nice %26 Spicy but not too sweet like some others I've tried. I mix with equal parts milk, microwave my mug and enjoy!! I'm hooked. Wish it was cheaper but it's the only real splurge I do for myself. This is a staple grocery item in my home.
Tazo Chai concentrate is pretty good. The flavor of all the spices comes out and it's a really good chai. The only thing that I wasn't crazy about is how brisk this tea is. The briskness of a tea is the quality that makes your mouth kind of pucker. I like my tea to have much less briskness to them.
I love this stuff however I stopped buying it because unless you drink it within a few days otherwise it gets a nasty sweet-plasticy chemical reaction flavor to it. It's only good if you drink it within first few days even tho it's supposed to be good for 2 weeks in fridge after opening that is not accurate
It simply doesn't taste good. Compared to something from Starbucks or making it with powder at home. Watery and bland which is at odds with it's high sweetness. Color is off.
