Nice looking, no screws to attach stand in box, if you dont add ice packs right no cooling happens. This fan only cools 10 x 14 room 3 degrees. My homemade evap cooler works better.

If you run out of frozen bottles for cold, it really works well with Ice Cubes in the top, and down below where the bottles go, small ice packs work well. water bucket holds 1 gallon of water, good for 8 hours. Filling the bucket is very easy. No noise, very quiet to run.

I'm pretty surprised by all the 5 star reviews of this product. I reviewed several different evaporative air coolers prior to selecting this one, primarily because of all the high ratings, and I must say, I am pretty disappointed. Assembly is simple enough because you only need to assemble and screw in the base. Operating the fan is also pretty simple, and the instructions are fairly easy to understand, though the transaction to English isn't always accurate. I've used it for about 10 days now, in 85 degree weather, and it has not reduced my indoor temperature in my living room by even one degree. It does blow cooler air than just a regular fan, but it doesn't reduce temps, and you have to continuously add water to the basin to keep the cool function going. Other than that, the water in the basin became green and funky smelling after about 5 days, and it's difficult to clean. I would not recommend for someone looking for something between an AC and a fan to reduce indoor temps.

This item doesn't not cool you off nor blow out cool air like advertised. It blows out like a regular fan. It keeps you at the minimum cool for a second but I put the ice packs in the top and the bottom and it didn't blow cool there like I said it would very disappointed in the description, I'm disappointed in the product and also when I first got the product it specified that it's supposed to come with screws. I had to find my own screws to secure the bottom That was very disappointing for the price I paid for it. It should be blown out cold air. It did not do any of that. My living room is still not cold like it supposed to be very disappointing. This product is not what advertise to be.

Dos not do what it is intended to do. Did not cool even one degree. The panel disappears after a few seconds and you have to turn it off and on again to see the temperature or see what fan speed, etc. is working. No instructions included on how to use thee empty plastic bottles included. I m returning it.

I could spit in the wind and cool it off quicker than this thing does

I was sceptical, thought well at the very least I'll have an overpriced tower fan. But, to my surprise it actually puts out cool air even with only water in it, no ice.

Not recommended for large rooms. It's OK in a 9x12 if you use ice and ice water in the tank and have the blower on high (%233) I use it in a larger room with AC. The combination cools it enough and helps to humidify the room in a dry climate.

You need a Philips screwdriver to secure the base to the tower, but it's very easy to assemble. The tower itself does not swivel -- it's the interior part that does that. Overall, it seems to work well.
