It is definitely warm and read instructions
The packet is warm, hot at times and stays warm for good long time. The outer packet opens easily only on the tiny black arrow as instructed, don't tear the inner packet. Both pieces eventually become trash. Who wouldn't want to have warm hands, I thought? I ordered 40 packets, thinking of the delight it might bring having temporary warm hands. Stocking stuffers, I thought. I've now read warning on packet, definitely not for unsupervised kids. So now I have to remove from stockings and unwrap presents to remove packets. The contents are harmful to pets and people if swallowed (the warning goes on and on). I will keep my packets in my car and disperse upon an as needed basis. It's exhausting.

Lifesavers in cold, damp weather!
HotHands are the real deal! We recently went camping and got hit with cold, rainy weather. The temperatures dropped to around 4°C, and everything was damp and bone chilling. These little fellas worked like a charm inside our sleeping bags, providing consistent warmth through the night. They made a huge difference in comfort and helped us actually get some sleep despite the conditions. We were so impressed, we just went out and bought two more packs. Highly recommend for any coldbweather adventures!

Takes over 40 min to heat up
It heats up eventually but takes over 40 mins. which is not practical for my usage, I previously had grabber ones and they heat up in about 15 min which is acceptable for this kind of hand warmers. I do not recommend this product
