The driver whom I did not meet went over and above what I had asked of him. I told him to put the 15 bags of salt for the pool at the end of the drive. He put in an extra effort and brought the 15 forty pound bags of salt down to a storage area. I was elated when I found them below. Saved me from having to carry them down. I was not home at the time but I believe his name was Donat.
The ordering process was extremely smooth and easy. Pulled into a spot access to the store without a problem. Associate was there quickly and loaded my items with no problem. I care for a 96-year-old and cannot always run into the store to get items, this was such a blessing.
I often buy salt from Walmart and I am very satisfied with this purchase. The only thing about this sale was that I had to pick it up at the store. That meant I had to put each 40 pound bag in my car trunk, then take it out, and then take it to my backyard. I am 78 years old and a female and this was very difficult for me to do.
This works just as well as what my pool guy brings. I pour it in the pool and use the brush to spread it. It is inexpensive and I don't have to make extra trip to a pool store and pay extra because it is a "specialty" item. Walmart has some pool supplies that are cheaper than the pool stores or what the pool guy will charge you.
Walmart.com was out of salt designed for melting ice on driveways and sidewalks so ... I hoped salt is salt so I took a shot. This pool salt works great at melting ice! We've been in a deep freeze for weeks this winter. Despite the continued deep freeze, this salt melted a huge patch of ice on my front porch in 24 hours. I can't address this salts performance as intended, for pools, but for ice removal it works great! It clumps a little bit in the bag but is easily broken or de-clumped with a quick tap. This has been a frigid winter so far. I barely scratched the volume of this 40 lb bag salting my front porch, sidewalk and part of my driveway. I hope this bag will get me through the rest of the winter but if not, I know where to get more. Thanks Walmart.com!
The ITEM is good. It was the DELIVERY that was faulty. It was requested the delivery be put inside our gate next to the driveway to prevent theft (which has occurred in my area.) Combo to the gate was provided. The delivery was just dumped in my driveway in plain view from the street. To add insult to injury, a driver's tip was AUTOMATICALLY included when I paid for the delivery. Deleted that and with good reason. Tips are a REWARD for good service, NOT a DEMAND before good service is rendered.
Clorox pool and spa salt is the best we have used. It is always a very fine granular texture compared to all the other pool salts we have used. It dissolves fast and is very easy to add to the pool without all the clumping with most other brands of salt we have use.
I’ve been using Clorox pool salt for a while now and have had absolutely no issues. I especially like that the salt has fine particles, which dissolve quickly in the water. Delivery was smooth and on time. Overall, great product and service—I’ll definitely order again.
Good product at a competitive price. One bag arrived with a hole in it, so a small trail of salt through the house to clean up. Then the delivery person only made it about 2/3 the way to the front porch and just dropped the bags on the front walk for the whole neighborhood to admire. Mostly awesome deliveries from Walmart, but I guess you can't win them all.
There was nothing wrong with the product.... It was the delivery to my house that was the issue. I requested that the bags of salt be placed on the back porch where the pool is. The delivery person placed them all at the front door as a semi-blockade of my doorway. As we now had to carry the bags thru the house, there was grains of salt all over the floor and on top of it, one of the bags was delivered ruptured. And just to think, I "Tipped" this delivery person when I checked out. Poor delivery person.
