42" 3-drawer Storage Bench Brown

I’ve assembled a lot of furniture over the years. This arrived solidly packaged. I was impressed with the weight of it, approximately 86 pounds. The wood is much more solid than anything I’ve previously assembled and is as attractive, as pictured in the purchase site. There are no written instructions with the pictures, so I don’t recommend this for a beginner. I’ll be using this as a toy chest for grandchildren. The only downside was the price. It’s expensive, considering it isn’t assembled at purchase.

After searching several websites/stores I fianlly decided on this Coaster small storage bench and I am so happy that I did. The shipping was relatively quick and it came right to my front door. Free shipping! Doesn't get much better than that. The price was a little bit high for me but I decided that I wanted quality even if that meant spending a bit more than my budget. I am so pleased with the quality, color and durability. It was definitely a task putting it together but with someone else's help it wasn't too bad. I love the 3 drawers and the 3 baskets in which I use to put my 2 year olds shoes in! It looks great and gives the room a warm, rustic and inviting feel! I highly recommend to anyone looking for an average size bench that provides extra storage (which who couldn't use right?).

Great bench easy assembly

I never would have bought this if I'd seen it first in a real store. In fact, I would have sent it back but by the time I saw it my wife had its many pieces totally unpacked and I knew we'd never get it back in the box. The good - at the moment and from a distance, the bench doesn't look too bad (although I have serious doubts that it will stay that way). It's also heavy enough that it doesn't scoot around on our tiled entryway. The bad - it's a Chinese made product of extremely cheap quality. The product description says it's ""wood construction"" and I suppose particle and press board are made of wood products, but it's junk. For instance the drawer boxes are made of press board (like heavy duty cardboard) that are only held together with butt joints and screws. Really?? Even for knock down furniture that's poor quality. The knock down fittings also didn't fit right and are very cheap. The studs that the cams lock into weren't long enough and I broke several of the cheap pot metal cams before I realized what was happening. To fix it, we had to buy more cams from the local big box store and then partially unscrew the studs from their nuts in order to get enough height for the cams to properly grip. Bottom line - this is a very pricey bench for what you get. I would not recommend it.
