42"x16"x18" Large Live Animal Trap

CAGE IS JUST WHAT I NEEDED TO CATCH RACCOONS. OUTSTANDING ! WORKED THE FIRST TIME AND GOT THAT VARMINT.

This trap may work. The linkage mechanism would not hook to the rod on the swing door (to short). It was not damaged, it was not manufactured correctly. Had to bend the rod on the swing door 3/4 of an inch to be able to get the linkage hook to go where it was suppose to go. Next the foot plate is not in the front as all other traps I have dealt with 2/3 away from the entrance. Usually you put the food on the foot plate, but this one you must put food in front of foot plate. If pan slips and goes under foot plate it would not release door. The linkage bar is on out side not on the top inside of cage like all other traps to keep objects from interfering with rods. Not to say I am completely disappointed, you get what you pay for, but it is just built cheap. I think I will look for another large trap built in U.S.A not China.
