Assembly was genuinely quick — under 15 minutes start to finish. The leg panels come mostly pre-built, so you’re really just connecting pieces and driving in a few screws. Once tightened, it’s impressively sturdy with zero wobble.
The wood is the real highlight. The deep walnut stain with bold pine grain gives it a rustic, handcrafted look that punches well above its price point. I’ve been using it as a shoe bench in my entryway and it handles daily use without complaint, though the lower shelf makes it versatile enough for just about anything.
The only reason I’m not giving five stars is a small chip I found on one of the side panels after unboxing. It’s minor and mostly hidden once the bench is in place, but at this price point the quality control should catch that. Everything else was excellent — packaging, instructions, and build quality included. Would still absolutely recommend, just give yours a once-over when it arrives.
