It's a lot nicer than I thought it would be. I'm so glad I picked this one! Plus I downloaded a crackling fire sound from YouTube and laid the tablet on top. Sounds just like it's coming from the flames! It's the next best thing if you can't have a real wood burning fireplace.
This item exceeded expectations. It is beautiful. It looks better than the picture. Most of the pieces are solid wood - which I did not expect - and I noticed immediately the very high quality finish - the white portions are hard enameled paint that is hard to scratch. I love the system this piece has that makes it easy to put together. Large plastic brackets have a built in "dowel" that lines everything up, and most of the screws are bolts that go into pre-seated threads. Very strong and very solid. This went together faster and easier than I thought and is solid. The heater element has a remote - really cool, and the frame is beautiful if not entirely realistic. My wife turned it on during her yoga and was surprised how warm it got.
Great looking fireplace. Easy to assembly for 2 people. It will probably take you around 2 hours. Heating feature is awesome and works fine.

Took two people 2 hours to put together !! but pretty at the end !!
I also bought an 8” Lasko space heater for my bathroom that I used in my main room while I was waiting for the fireplace to be delivered and assembled. The lasko heated up my room in 6hrs to a nice and toasty temperature. I've had this fireplace on for 24hrs and it's still cold in my room! The heat on max is so light and gentle that my expensive hair dryer can't even go that low and gentle!!! I'm so disappointed….also, I cannot turn off the led flame during bed time and the lowest setting (that setting shouldn't have a flame effect IMO just glowing logs). I would not recommend this fireplace, I'm really disappointed in its poor heat output.
Item is listed as delivered and so far only the heating element has arrived. No idea when or if the actual mantel part is coming since there is no indication that another package is on its way
