I bought this fan based on the other reviews that claimed it provided some cooling for small areas. This has not been my experience, though I'm still giving a 5-star for reasons that follow. I have a small (850 sq ft) third floor apartment. The bedroom gets quite hot during heat waves. I tried putting this fan in the bedroom (10'x10' space) and running it on medium with ice and icepacks in the water bin. When I walked into the bedroom 1/2 hour later, the room actually felt *warmer* not cooler. I suspect that was from the added humidity. However, it's a very nice fan with 3 solid speeds. It's much stronger than the older tower fan I had, so I'm keeping it. Plus, its ability to add some moisture to the air will come in handy during the winter when the air becomes so very dry. Note that when you use the “Cool” function, you do hear the water moving in the unit. Sounds almost like water trickling somewhere. After a short amount of time, I decided I liked the sound - it was like hearing a small creek outside. However, if you are expecting super-quiet function, it will be disappointing. Lastly, set-up was a breeze. I had it out of the box and running in 5 minutes or less.

This is a DELUXE tower fan! Tons of features. LCD screen with temperature. Swamp cooler feature with 4 ice pucks. Remote control with included battery. Super easy to assemble. Overall the perfect tower fan. Very impressed.

This is a little noisy but really puts out the cool air. Big tank that lasts for several hours.

Oscillates, but wobbly on level floor. Holds water. Blows air in three speeds. Remote doesn't work. There was no 2.5 ⭐ option, so the 3 will have to do.

First off, let me just start by saying that I was extremely disappointed! I spent weeks researching to find out which fan/air cooler would be the best for the money($155) I was gonna spend. And obviously I landed on this one. It does not cool a room down by 5°- 10° like it states, not even close to that. It is literally a fan that mists from time to time. And the sad thing is...... it doesn't even mist that often!!!! If you want to cool your body off and feel any temperature change you must keep it within three feet of you. Otherwise it is just a fan. oh and let me just state that it gets black mold in the clear water tube very easily and there is no way to pull the tubing out and clean it! so you're going to be stuck breathing in mold!!

Even using all 4 frozen cold packs provided, the unit blowing at full blast, only cooled the bedroom 1 degree from 90 degrees to 89 degrees. When the bottom water resevoir was filled with cold packs and cold water the container door would not close shut and leaked water on the floor. This was a waste of money and time.

Does not cool very well and needs ice and water every couple of hours

Flow breeze giving me run around. Fan does not oscillate and after using it for a week the cooler part not working

No remote. Adding water doesn't seem to make it blow cooler. There were much more reasonably priced fans that would have been a better option.

It leaks and needs to be returned
