We have been enjoying this basketball hoop a lot so far. I was very happy first of all that the seller emailed me before shipping to confirm the order and the shipping address. The item arrived quickly. Assembly was tricky, it took two of us three hours to put it together. The instructions were not amazing and were a little tricky to understand as the pictures were hard to read but in the end we made sense of it and got it together. Some things that we love about this hoop include the huge backboard, the springs on the rim, that it is so easy to raise and lower, and the rebound board at the bottom makes for far less balls going in random directions. A lot of reviewers recommended putting sand in the base but we did not want to do that because it is tricky to put sand in the base and almost impossible to get the sand out if we need to move it. So we opted to put in jel. If you search basketball hoop gel it will come up as a powder that you add to water that is similar in weight to sand. It was so easy to add and it's extremely heavy. We have to have at least two people to move it because it is so heavy, but it is still portable. Also the gel is really easy to remove in case we ever need to move it a long distance.

Missing parts.

The back board looks glass but more of a plexiglass. It it's serviceable and for adults, but my biggest issue is it's not totally stable from the pole and back board. You shoot a bank shot and you don't get a true bank. I'm not trying to have a professional style court and for the price it's not bad but if you want the school yard/ gym you might have to spend at least another $100 i would say.

Wasn't at all what we expected from the description given This item was broken cracked on the board missing screws also very flimsy even with sand bag. With wind it fell lucky no one was hurt!

Don't buy this product expecting any kind of support. I purchased the basketball hoop for my son for Christmas. Once I took it out of the box, I saw that the middle telescoping pole was bent in such a way, the top piece could not be connected. I reached out to support and they were quick to respond asking for pictures and additional details. I sent them the information they requested and never heard from them again. I am now trying to work with Walmart to see how I can get my money back for a product that never worked and was given to my son as a Christmas gift. So disappointed.

The plastic base sprung leak a few hours after the goal was set up. I contacted the seller (in China) through WalMart requesting a replacement base and was informed that they don't have extra parts. The manufacturer offered to refund 20% of the purchase price but after I agreed to that they only refunded $20.
