I love this charger I just have to figure out how to get it to charge in the sunlight. I'm in Florida so there's sunlight abound. I'm also trying to figure out how many hours it needs to fully charge. I've charged it for 8 hours straight and the last light still isn't lit up. might have to do an overnighter 6.
Just got it and it seems like a really sturdy product i just charged my phone from 17% to full charge while playing games on my phone at the same time and charged in a little over 2hrs so pretty impressed so far.
the power supplyis decent i was able to charge my phone. as 2 items charging at a time probably would suck the power right out. it just doesnt seem to be great quality... it xomes with a wondow cling holder
Unit came mostly charged, and solar feature appears to be working. hace tried to charge anything as of yet, so can't say anything about that. one suction cup for window holder was missing from package. "Clip" is plastic, and upon putting carribeaner on it, the clip just pullrd out if the unit. so is pretty useless even if reinserted. Unit only has a micro USB, AND NO "C" port which most things have now. so tells me this is an outdated product. bought for my new car, but instructions warn not to leave in hot car. and not really place anywhere near heat. So I am rather disappointed in this charger that appears to be for camping n outdoor n automobile use. I'll find a use for it or give away as a cheap gift. Just doesnt live up to what it seemed in ad.
Con: did not come iphone compatible. Required an additional purchase.($10) of a Lightn-ing male to USB c female adapter. This was not described well. Pro: Came fully charged and recharged my phone in an hour. Did not cause overheating. Only 1 of 4 battery indicatory lights was used to recharge the phone. Clear instructions came with the solar charger. Double pressing the power button engages the flashlight (high light level, low level and flashing SOS). Good light. Did not feel cheap. Overall great product but very disappointed that out of the box it was not able to charge my iphone without the additional purchase of an adapter. Walmart is responsible to change the wording to compatible to iphones with additional purchase of a Lightn-ing (male) to USB-C (female) adapter. I was buying this for my emergency bug-out bag had I not tested this before packing it could have been very bad. Buyer beware FALSE product description. This is why the very low rating for an otherwise good product.
I used it once, it worked good, charged my phone, then a couple days later ive tried to charge it and have it charge my accessories and it no longer works. More accurately the flashlight and solar seem to work, but i cannot charge anything with it, nor use the microusb to charge the battery pack itself.
a disappointment. It's theoretical 38kw capacity should charge my 8kw phone battery 4 times. It struggles to recharge the phone ONCE in several hrs; sometimes with a " Slow charging- check your connection- message. I tried to return but was refused as Walmart counts the 30 day return window from the order date not the recieved date!!! Inferior product Deceptive Return Policy Come on Walmart you all have to do better
purchased this because of the price and good reviews, maybe I just got a bad one, showed fully charged but didn't charge phone or ipad tried everything tried solar charging im home charger didnt charge anything i will be returning to Walmart tomorrow dont want to get replacement and end up with same problem
Description says it will charge iPhone multiple times. After charging item for eight hours (recommended for full charge) item charged my iPhone to 62% power before it died. Charged it for 12 hours and it charged my iPhone to 100% , but once again item was drained of power. The flashlight with three brightness levels is nonexistent.
Don't waste your time on this even as an ‘emergency' power source. Left it in the sun all day and it only had a couple minutes of using it before dying completely again. Would probably work better being plugged in but the whole point of this is that it's supposed to be solar
