47547- Westclox Black Super Loud LCD Alarm Clock

Lives up to its name ( it's my third one in 5 years. The buttons Do eventually wear out ). IT'S LOUD!

When I take my hearing aids out, I couldn't hear my alarm clock. This LOUD one from Westclox I can hear on the soft setting. I recommend this clock for those who are hard of hearing or very heavy sleepers.

This is a great little portable clock for home and travel. The Westclox name was a real impression-maker and the LOUD alarm sealed the deal! For us sound sleepers, this is a real find! I only wish Westclox could come up with a atomic version. (Daylight Savings Time always confuses me.)

This is a nice loud alarm clock, and easy to set, and having a good reading display. It would be perfect except for one flaw: trying with all of my strength and every conceivable way, I could not get the battery compartment cover to shut properly after installing the batteries.

This states in the comparison review with other alarm clocks that this is corded. This was clearly NOT a corded alarm clock when I opened the packaging. I placed this order online and had it shipped, so had I looked at this item in the store, I would have known that this was not corded but placing my order online I went by the product comparison. Unfortunately, there is no mention of corded or not corded in the actually "product" description. I confirmed the product number on the packaging to ensure that I received the right product ordered, and I did.

I love the fact the clock is small, does not take up too much room. I ordered online not realizing it's battery only operated which made me a little nervous about it dying in the middle of night but I put a reminder on my calendar to change batteries every month. First week in to putting brand new batteries in I noticed the time would be off by several hours but my alarm would still go off at correct time. I also noticed the 2nd digit looked faded. Replaced batteries thinking I had bad ones and same thing happened that very night. I do like that the alarm is extremely loud, I had no trouble waking up to it.

Attractive. But it is not "Super Loud". ( Smoke detectors are. ) Much too soft for me. And it only sounds for about one minute, then all sound stops.

Did not know it was battery operated only.also uses two types of batteries very inconvenient not happy with it at all.

This clock is very quiet I sleep right through it. Its not super loud at all. I bought two of them. My mistake for not keeping the packaging and returning them to the store. I had one like this one that worked fine but not this time. Its a waste of money!!
