4C Homestyle Parmesan Grated Cheese 6 oz Jar

I was happy to find this shelf stable Parmesan cheese. It tastes wonderful and keeps well in the fridge. Really appreciate that it's not as loaded with sodium as other similar products. You can soak the label off when finished with cheese and re-purpose the jar to make cold brew coffee, tea, or infused waters!

Wanted to make bread sticks without the extra sodium. This is lower than most. I was kind of taken aback because it is dry and hard. But I was reassured that it is normal for this kind of cheese. I still like it, and it tastes great. I've just always used the grated cheese in the clear and green containers. Starts with a "K" or great value brand.

Normally, my family only uses freshly grated parm... we won't buy pre-shredded because of the cellulose they add to keep it from sticking together. My hands can't take a lot of shredding... it hurts. I saw this didn't have that nasty cardboard added to it and I was very hopeful! We were thrilled that this is actually really, really a great product! The flavor is excellent, it does not have that gross texture that makes you wonder what the world is on the shreds... and it melts really nicely! I'm so very happy that I decided to try this parm! And I really do recommend it to friends and family.

4C the only grated Parmesan cheese I can find at WMart that doesn't have cellulose as a filler. While they say cellulose is natural for anti-cacking, I still feel like it makes grated/shredded cheese taste "off". It can be difficult to find but the 4C products in the glass jars are the real deal. At some point I'll find a good grater, buy a wedge %26 do it myself. Till then 4C is my go to for convenience with nothing added - just pure parm taste.

love this parmesan cheese. it has no cellulose (wood pulp🤮) or antibiotics which is used in cheese to help with mold. although the antibiotic is FDA approved, i personally dont trust it. There is so much junk in the foods we eat everyday, you really need to look at ALL ingredients.

tastes great! rarely gets stuck together at the bottom, but even if it does, the shape of the jar makes it real easy to fix. i was raised on the powdery “sprinkle cheese” parmesan. now that i've started using this instead, the old sprinkle cheese feels inedible. it's like night and day.

This is my favorite grated parmesan. The flavor is full and being vacuum sealed in the jar keeps it flavorful. I use it on my pastas and a yummy parmesan toast too!

If you don't want to grate your own, this is definitely the next best thing! None of that 'powdery stuff' they put on other brands of grated cheese. This will be my all time go to from now on.

There's nothing better than grating your own fresh cheese, but sometimes I'm lazy. But I try to buy brands with no additives. This is good, but the texture is kinda hard and I think it's lacking in flavor. It does serve its purpose so I recommend it.

I read some reviews on this product before I purchased it. I allowed the fact that it does not contain cellulose sway me more than I should have. The fact is, it has a bitter taste, and it is hard and dried. The texture is hard, like uncooked rice. However, unlike some reviews stated, it will eventually melt when heated for awhile. Definitely not worth the inflated price.
