My son really wanted a drone. He's only six. This one was on sale and my husband likes to play with toys with him when they are more adult like fun toys, such as super fast RC Cars, etc. I will say that this is not something my son can use by himself. However, my husband has really enjoyed it and subsequently my son has really enjoyed watching him play with it.
Totally worth buying. Gave as gifts for christmas and everyone who got one was super pleased with how they worked and also enjoyed the fact that you could do video with the drone. Thank you so much!!
They hooked my sons up with extra equipment. We were excited to see what the company had left for the. An unexpected extra set of blades and one came with an extra battery.
The drone is awesome. but there's a QR code inside the manual to download the camera app.. well I scanned the code and it brought me to a sign up screen. It said 100% free membership but asked for my card info. I was a little sketch but I did it anyway. Then it brought me to the website which had nothing to do with the drone or camera app. It was a site with a bunch of games and I had to call the number on the page to get the $30 they charged my card back! Also the cancel whatever membership I had signed up for. But! If you search for the camera app instead of scanning the QR code you will easily find it on Play Store. As far as the drone goes, it's cool. Fairly easy to control. If you run into something you'll have to turn everything off and back on again.. but it's fun to play with. It does flips and spins in a circle. I got it for my 6yo and she learned how to maneuver it fairly quickly. It was definitely worth the money!
This was reviewed as a beginner's drone. We bought it for our kid but my husband and I were both the operators. You really do have to be completely away from any buildings or trees to operate or one little bump and it will have to reset for 5 minutes. The hover ability is good. The controls are very sensitive even for an adult. The battery life is incredibly short. It was cheap, so I guess you do get what you pay for?
Do not buy this product, if you do prepare to return it. First off, our set was missing 4 of the advertised replacement blades. The batteries do not last long enough. The drone was very easily affected by wind making it impossible to control in weak winds. The drone would also unpredictably fall out of the air with a fully powered battery. Also the back left motor was defective and wouldn't spin as fast as the other blades, and sometimes not at all.
this thing isn't what you are hoping for, I charged up it's tiny batteries thing took off perfect, in fact it never stopped taking off I mean I watched that thing travel I dunno 400 yards or so, far enough to where lost eye sight of it. Yup and that was that. I still got the controller if anyone needs a free replacement. This drone was a bust!
Still waiting for it with no update of when it will arrive and the “chat with us” just keeps you chasing your tail with no answers. It says will be delivered July 5th but here we are on the 7th waiting for anything.
While the drown does fly, it drops uncontrollably when power is reduced. However, beware. The low price of this drown appears to be a scam to trick you into subscribing to a $50 a month subscription to something unrelated to the drone when you scan the QR code in the User Manual to get the app needed to view on your phone what the drone sees with its camera. The subscription starts either 2 days or 5 days after you are tricked into subscribing. Red the fine print in the Terms of Service.
It came yesterday both of my drones an first thing I did was charge it for about 2an a half hours until the light turned green an I put the battery in an it only flew for about 8minutes an it was done, i followed everything from the directions I can’t even pair the camera to my phone. It won’t sync but the other one I got from you guys works really good no issues in charging or syncing the camera, but the 4DRC I’m not able to use it I don’t know what’s wrong with it but I think I got a drone with burnt out batteries. A the camera don’t sync or work on the app.
