The material that came with my car dashcam video for the front windshield did not hold. Maybe it got too hot? I substituted that stuff that didn't work for this. Sticky stuff and so far it has been working fine.
The plastic backing if you don't have long fingernails is hard to peel off. It has been a few months since I installed my dash cam in the Florida heat. I have had no issues with it and it has stayed on securely.
Be very sure you don't accidently put it where it doesn't go because once this tape is put in place it's extremely difficult to remove but once installed it stays on.
Very Sticky and Durable, but comes off easy and clean when you need it to.
Use for installing dash cameras.
