5 1/2 in Myler Horse Bit Dee W/ Hooks Medium Wide Ported Barrel

I was looking for a bit to make my horse more relaxed and happy in the poll. He was great in the other bit I was using but thought he needed to be more happy in his mouth so I tried it. The frist couple rides were tuff but now he perfect and happy!!!

I bought this bit for tongue relief for my horse. He is the best judge and he like this bit. He seems responsive and relaxed with this bit in his mouth. I like the hooks to have more stablity with the d-ring. Excellent bit for tongue relief if you have a horse with that issue.

This is a great bit. I have had a hard time finding a bit that my QH mare liked. I do not need a lot of bit. I just wanted to find one she was comfortable with. She has a fat tongue, thick lips, and low pallet, so I have tried a lot of bits that did not make her happy. The MB 33 was what she needed to give her the tongue relief.

I wish I would have purchased this 4 months ago! We have a large 17 hand hunter under saddle horse that we were having trouble getting collected and driving from behind. This bit was exactly what we needed. Other bits we tried made him throw his head up and were too harsh! This works perfectly!

My quarter horse prefers to have a bit with a port, and beyond that in order to achieve the frame needed for the hunter under saddle classes he needs a bit more bit than we use for schooling at home. He loves the bit and it has held up well to a lot of use at shows and some at home. Cleans up well by running through the dishwasher.

I use this bit on my big TB ex-racehorse/staff horse. He likes it a lot -- it is gentle and provides lots of tongue relief. He still gets ants in the pants and gets strong and opens his mouth when we're kicking along, but I feel like this bit is pretty unobtrusive. We both appreciate the hooks in the dee, and the extra space on the sides so there's no pinching.

I believe Myler bits are amazing. Why wouldn't you want your horse to have little to no discomfort while riding? Its just my opinion, but I think everyone needs to try a Myler bit...they come in different levels so you have a bit for your every need. 5 star rating!

My horse has a smaller sized mouth so this bit works perfectly to give me the control I need without any significant harshness to his mouth. Bit is very high quality!

When we bought this horse, he didn't respond well to a regular D bit for slowing down or stopping. This bit did the trick! So we bought it and gave our trainer back hers!

My mare was going ok in her previous French link loose ring, but I was having trouble with her collapsing her shoulder on circles. I contacted myler and they recommended a 33 mouthpiece. She seems to salivate excessively in this bit (she hasn't salivated in any other bit), and I'm worried it's because the port is too tall for her mouth and she can't swallow properly. She has gotten way better at picking up her shoulder when I ask though and seems to like the bit ok - no chewing or gaping at the mouth. Also, the tops of the D ring touches her face even though I can fit a pinky finger on either side of the bit. She's always taken a 5" bit and it looks like this bit was designed with more metal sticking out from the corners of the mouth.
