5 gal Cabot 0801 White Base Solid Color Stain and Sealer for Siding and Fence

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm in love with this Cabot outdoor paint and sealant! Mine is in the color Acorn, which is such a beautiful neutral. The product went in very easy with a roller, and I was able to get almost a full plank covered with each dip of the roller. The products didn't take too long to dry, it appeared to be dry within 2 hours but I waited 24 hours to walk on it. The sealant got deep into the nooks of the wood, providing deep protection and coverage to the wood. I've had my deck painted for about a month now and the color still looks as great as it did day one!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am truly impressed with this stain and sealer. In my picture, I used one coat and placed it next to the old stained fence for comparison. I have no doubt that this stain and sealer will outlast other stains. If I had siding instead of brick, this would be my first choice. Overall, this is an outstanding product that I will continue to use on future projects.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cabot Siding and Fence Solid Color Stain and Sealer worked wonders on our fence. The fence was dull and stained from the sprinklers. After two coats of this stain it looks so much better. It's brighter and most of the staining is no longer visible. We typically stain every other year and have used this brand in the past at our previous home and will continue to use it. It's easy to apply with a brush or sprayer and lasts.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So we used this paint stain + sealer on some of the back deck and front yard where it gets most of the sun rays and rain. I painted a coat and it dried in an hour in 100 degree weather. The paint looks so smooth and clean it made my stairs vivid. This paint does not feel sticky or heavy and dries really fast. We will continue to use it all around our house. My husband was actually excited to try this brand because he likes painting our home. He was really surprised how fast it was dry and practical.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been really impressed with Cabot Siding & Fence Stain. I love that it's self-priming, which made the project much easier and saved time. The coverage was excellent, and it went on smoothly with a nice, even finish. One feature I hadn't heard of before was the RainWash Technology, but I really like the idea of it. Knowing the stain is designed to help wash away dirt with rainfall and keep the fence looking cleaner over time is a huge plus. The Acorn color looks beautiful and gives the wood a rich, natural finish. Overall, this stain was easy to use and delivered great results. I would definitely recommend it to anyone staining a fence or siding.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Premium Woodcare Cabot Siding and Fence Solid Color Stain Plus Sealer is absolutely fantastic and has completely transformed my outdoor wood surfaces! The rich, solid color coverage is gorgeous and uniform across my fence and siding, the built-in sealer provides excellent protection against weather, moisture, and UV damage, and the application is smooth and straightforward! The beautiful finish is long-lasting and durable, and the value for money is absolutely fantastic! Highly recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Stain applied easy and has a very good finish. The bench needed two coats but that was due to being ten years since the last stain. The can opening was challenging due to the plastic cover that had to be removed before the can could be opened. Creating a notch in the plastic is recommended.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a nice quality looking stain. I sampled this on a peice of wood and the color looks great. I plan on using this on a new deck I will be building at my house. I got some on my hands and it was easy to wash off.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Cabot Siding &fence color stain in neutral base gives the appearance of a tan color in the dark and more of a very light tan to white color when the light hits it. We wanted to refresh the very old looking wood steps and it did the job. Definitely needs at least two coats. No issues with paint pealing or flaking yet.
